***I NEED YOUR PRAYERS!!!  I have told numerous journalists over the years
that the secret to what Liveprayer does each day lies in the sacrifice
literally tens of thousands of people faithfully make each day to pray for
me and this ministry.  A few weeks ago I shared with you the ultra
aggressive and ambitious moves Liveprayer is taking as we start our 9th year
to literally reach millions more people around the world each day with the
hope of Christ while taking God’s Truth visibly and boldly into the
marketplace.  I shared with you that the warfare was going to be ratcheted
up and be relentless and it has been.  I am going to give you 7 specific
issues to pray about, and am asking each person to stop what you are doing
and call out these 7 items before God.  He knows what they are and I will be
able to explain them in detail soon.  Satan is not omniscient, but he can
read.  He knows our plans and is coming hard.  We are standing firm, our
swords and shields are raised, and we will press forward to victory!  AMEN!
Here are the 7 areas I need you to be praying over:  1. Finances  2.  Fla.
State Fair logistics  3. Production issues with new morning program  4.
Jim, our TV ad sales manager  5.  Cell phone deal  6.  New Stern special  7.
WTOG-CW44

One former NBA player “comes out,” another former NBA star comments, and a
national debate on homosexuality ensues!  A retired journeyman NBA player,
John Amaechi, told the world a few months ago that he was “gay.”  Of course,
it is no surprise this big announcement coincided with the release of a book
he had written about choosing to engage in homosexual acts and playing in
the NBA.  Guess it didn’t make sense to make such an announcement until he
could profit off of his choice to engage in deviant and unnatural sex.

In the wake of Amaechi’s announcement, came the comments of another former
NBA player, a true superstar in the league for many years, Tim Hardaway.
Hardaway, a former player for the Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat, was
being interviewed by a local Miami sports radio host, Dan LeBatard, who is
also a columnist for the Miami Herald and writer for ESPN.com.  It is
important to note LeBatard’s affiliation with ESPN since it is ESPN who is
the publisher of Amaechi’s book.

In the interview, LeBatard asked Hardaway how he would feel having a
teammate who was “gay.”  Hardaway stated, “First of all, I wouldn’t want
him on my team. And second of all, if he was on my team, I would, you know,
really distance myself from him because, uh, I don’t think that’s right. And
you know I don’t think he should be in the locker room while we’re in the
locker room. I wouldn’t even be a part of that.  You know, I hate gay
people, so I let it be known. I don’t like gay people and I don’t like to be
around gay people. I am homophobic. I don’t like it.  It shouldn’t be in
the world or in the United States.”

As soon as Amaechi made his big announcement, ESPN began asking every person
affiliated with the NBA they interviewed their thoughts and comments on this
issue.  Everyone was very careful to give the typical cliched, politically
correct answers.  However, it was only a matter of time before they found
someone to go off script and give them something “hot” that would help their
book sales and Hardaway was that someone.

I don’t want to get into the whole issue of professional athletes who choose
to commit homosexual acts and all of the ramifications of having an openly
homosexual on a pro sports team.  Let the sports columnists pontificate on
that aspect.  I do want to look at what Hardaway said, and more importantly,
look at the incredible national debate that ensued over the whole issue of
homosexuality in general.

Hardaway foolishly gave LeBatard and ESPN exactly what they wanted, his
honest opinion on having a teammate who engaged in homosexual acts.  No
doubt they are the same sentiments of the vast majority of professional
athletes.  Where Hardaway got into trouble was when he went on to say, “I
hate gay people.”  It is unclear whether he wasn’t articulate enough to say
he hated the act of homosexuality or whether he really meant he hates gay
people.  That is something only God knows since He knows Hardaway’s heart.

The fact is there is no such thing as a “gay person,” only people who
CHOOSE to engage in homosexual acts.  The sins of a person who chooses to
commit the sin of homosexuality are no worse or better than my sins or
yours.  We can hate the sinful act they choose to engage in, but we must
love the person since Jesus died for their sins just like He died for my
sins and yours.  If Hardaway truly hates people who choose to commit this
sin, he needs to get with the Lord and work that out of his heart.  Pray for
him and that God will help him to not love this sin, but love the person who
chooses to commit this type of sin as we must love all people.

The real issue that I want to address today is the national debate that has
taken place since Hardaway’s comments.  If you weren’t sure how effective
the pro-homosexual community has been over the last 20 years, you know now.
They have effectively brainwashed this nation into accepting this deviant
choice of sex between a man and a man or a woman and a woman as acceptable
and on the same level as sex between a man and a woman.  Not only does this
nation now accept this choice as normal, those who speak out against it are
branded as hate-mongers, intolerant, narrow-minded, homophobic,
Bible-bangers, not evolved, and a host of other labels designed to degrade
and silence them.

I have shared with you in the past, if you want to see how effective the
brainwashing by the pro-homosexual community of the masses has been, simply
go ask the kids in youth groups at any church what they think about this
issue.  You will be shocked to find the majority will give you the great lie
that people are “born gay” and can’t help it, that it is not for us to
judge, and that if they “love each other,” that is all that matters!  Again,
these are kids who attend the youth groups in our churches!  They have grown
up with the message that this is something people are born with, that 10% of
the people are gay, and that it is a perfectly acceptable and even desirable
lifestyle.  That has been reinforced since their birth by the schools they
attend and by the media.

The two greatest lies the pro-homosexual community has put out are that 1)
homosexuality is something that you are “born with,” 2) 10% or more in our
society are homosexual. First, modern science has CLEARLY rejected and been
unable to prove that ANYONE is “born gay.” IT IS A CHOICE!!!! People are
born black and white, with green eyes and blue eyes, you have no control
over that.  Taking your pants off to have sex is a CHOICE!  The “struggle”
people who choose this sin speak of is the same “struggle” we all have, to
obey God or to sin! Also, all legitimate studies done by the non-homosexual
community clearly show that less than 1% of the population EVER engage in
this type of sexual sin.

When you condemn those who choose this sin, you are not judging them.  God
already did that when HE, not me, called homosexuality a sin from the
beginning of the Bible to the end.  A foolish argument from those who choose
this sin is that “why would anyone choose something that brought them
ridicule, condemnation, and the hatred of so many?” People make that choice
every day! I deal with men and women daily who CHOOSE to commit adultery and
destroy their marriage, lose the love and respect of their children, in many
cases ruin their career. People who choose sin choose to deal with the
consequences of their sin.

Another foolish question is, “When did you choose to be heterosexual?”  You
don’t have to choose to be how God made you.  However, you DO have to CHOOSE
to engage in unnatural and unhealthy acts that God never intended you to
engage in.  You don’t have to choose to be how God made you, you DO have to
choose to live in rebellion to how God made you.  Also, the “love” argument
is equally as foolish., since it is an unnatural love God never intended.  A
pedophile could use that same argument, as could someone who is engaged in
bestiality.  You can’t excuse sin by using a perverted form of love!

I love you and care about you so much.  Theologically this is not even a
debatable issue. All through the Bible, from the Old Testament through the
New, homosexuality is defined by God as a sin. PERIOD. God calls it an
ABOMINATION! I have heard the tortured theological arguments homosexuals
have made, but there is absolutely NO WAY to change the fact this act is a
sin. Just because there is now a homosexual version of the Bible where they
have literally changed the passages that call this act a sin, that does NOT
change God’s inspired, inerrant Word.

The church better wake up and realize that while they have been building
great buildings and getting fat, satan has been busy using the sin of
homosexuality to destroy the lives of people who have bought into this lie.
We live in a free society. If people who have chosen to engage in homosexual
activity, want to have their own schools, their own churches, their own
television network, they have every right to. It is about time the church
wakes up and realizes that those who promote this sin are bold and are
stopping at NOTHING to get their message out to the masses!  They have done
a great job of selling this lie since most in this nation now accept this
deviant choice of sex as normal and acceptable!

THAT is why I am always talking about how the church, those who know Christ
as their Savior, have got to quit preaching to the choir and start taking
the hope and love of Christ to the world at large. We have got to be brave
and bold enough to tell this lost world that homosexuality is a sin and will
destroy them if they fall into this bondage!  As those who follow Christ, we
also have a responsibility to pray for those who are in this bondage, for
God to open their hearts to the truth of His Word, and to turn from their
sin. Only God can change hearts, and for those who are in bondage to the sin
of homosexuality, we must pray for them to open their hearts and turn from
their sin.

Until Jesus returns, we will always have those who choose a perverted form
of sex with those of their own gender, just like we will always have those
who choose to pervert sex by having it outside of the bonds of marriage.
While we can never accept their choice since it is clearly against God’s
Word, we must pray for them, just like we must pray for everyone who is
battling sin in their life.

For those reading this who are currently fighting homosexuality, let me tell
you that God has never stopped loving you, and is simply waiting for you to
turn from your sin and come back to Him. We serve a God of deliverance from
sin, a God of forgiveness, and a God of restoration. Millions have turned
from the sin of homosexuality and found complete restoration and fulfillment
in living a life according to God’s plan. What He did for someone else, He
can do for you! I pray today that you hear these words, and choose to find
freedom from your sin today. That freedom is only a prayer away!

Pray for John Amaechi.  He is simply a lost soul who in some regards is
being used by ESPN to exploit his sin for cash.  He is the one whose life
and soul are at stake if he continues to engage in this unnatural and
perverted form of sex.  Pray for this nation.  Like the rest of the world,
we have bought into the lie of homosexuality.  I told you years ago it
will only be a matter of time before it is illegal in this nation to preach
against this sin — simply using the Bible.  That day is at hand.  The
nation has bought this lie hook, line, and sinker, and it will help to
destroy us as it did Sodom and Gomorrah.

The Bible declares the TRUTH shall set them free.  May we be brave enough
and bold enough, despite the persecution to proclaim God’s TRUTH about the
sin of homosexuality!!!

Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

Man Saved From Suicide…Halleluiah! Friday, Aug 24 2007

“three years ago i called your show after i had emailed you, my name was
wiccan peddler. the same night i called i was also going to commit suicide
right after i watched your show.i was a satanist for 18 years, and had no
intention of ever going to a church or becoming a christian. i asked for
proof of God and He showed me how real he really is, because instead of
killing myself, He proved to me He does exist and is real. the past 3 years
have been no cake walk, however i have been delivered from many demons and
and now praying for others to be released from the church of satan and the
occult. thank you for your prayer on that night. it changed my life. “

“Your message, your homily tonight, that each life matters was one of the
most moving and beautiful messages I think I’ve ever heard you give.  I was
crying it moved me so much.  You do so much good in this world, my friend.
Since I’ve been disabled, there have been many times that I’ve felt that I
was just a burden on others, and that my life didn’t matter, and in fact,
was harmful to those not disabled and impacted by my condition.  Over the
past year, you’ve shown me that God DOES care and that you do too.  God
Bless you my brother.  Thank you for all you do.”

Blessings my friend  ….ever since we launched all of the new initiatives
that will aggressively start our 9th year allowing us to reach millions more
people each day…the enemy has been hammering us hard..

..this is confidential…so I am asking you to please don’t talk to anyone
about it…but as someone God has touched though His work here..I wanted you
to know….we will announce this to our full LP family next week..and it
will be announced  publicly and become a national news story Labor Day
week….

… after nearly 5 yrs on the air…..CBS who owns the Tampa station the
Liveprayer TV program is on told us last week they were canceling our
program due to complaints they were getting from Muslim groups…upset I
called them a false religion and stating that the Bible says those who
followed a false religion like Islam will die and go to hell..of
course….we have been the target of every pro-homosexual organization..and
groups who support the Scientology cult..the Mormons..as well as the pure
God-haters…who have been trying since we started to get us off the air….

…the fact is I have been taking a Biblical stand from day one on the TV
program…so there was nothing I said recently that I haven’t been saying
for nearly 5 yrs now…the only reason we are being taken off the air is due
to our “content”…our attorneys have been busy looking at all of our legal
options…

….as only God could orchestrate. we are set to launch the new Liveprayer
AM program on a competing station in the Tampa market in 2 weeks….so we
will do our last late night broadcast on Friday the 31th..and launch the new
AM program the next Monday at 730 am on WTTA-TV38…God always has a ram in
the bush!!…we won’t miss a beat and actually have a much larger audience
to draw from being on in what is knows as “morning prime”..competing with
Good Morning America. the Today show..and Fox and Friends…

…I am sharing this with you today to not only bring you up to speed on
what is happening and what you will see unfold in he coming weeks. but this
new morning program now is critical….as I have shared recently..we have an
in-house sales team that is busy lining up advertisers for the program once
we get on the air..but we have to cover our first months airtime and
production costs up front..since we are always paying a month ahead…..so
far I have had 4 of the 12 I asked to help out with a special gift of $5,000
to cover that additional $60,000 I have to raise this month..so I still need
to cover $40,000….$20,000 of that by this Friday!!!..

…also..as we are just 9 days from the end of the month..we still need to
raise just over $40,000 to cover all of our August obligations…

..I am asking you to pray and if you are able…help me this week….if you
can be one of the last 8 I need to send a gift of $5,000 …great..or if you
can help towards the $40,000 we still need to raise for our general
budget…..I have tried to tell people for years that this is a war for
souls..satan is not going to let someone waltz around the marketplace and
preach the Truth of God’s Word without a major fight..we have fought that
good fight for 8 yrs now….it is critical these needs are met so we can
keep fighting to reach those who are lost and hurting..!!!…

..the enemy is not afraid of Christian TV..or even the few who regurgitate
their Christian TV program on a secular station Sunday morning….just like
he is not afraid of a church that holds a Sunday morning service..the enemy
is MORTIFIED by a church out in the marketplace furthering the
Kingdom..MORTIFIED by someone who without caution boldly goes into the
marketplace to bring the lost and hurting the hope of Christ using the same
secular media vehicles he uses…

..that is what Liveprayer is all about…and I refuse to let anything stop
me…..however..I can’t do this alone..and those few friends like yourself
…are the key to helping me continue to move forward to bring His Truth to
this dying world and the hope of Christ to the lost and hurting..

..I know your heart..I know your heart to serve the Lord…and I am certain
you know me well enough to know my heart is to reach the lost and hurting
with the only message of true hope there is..I really need your help..and
ask that you pray..and if you are able..do as much as you can to help me..if
you can help me by the end of the week..that would REALLY take some pressure
off…but anything you can do by the end of the month would be great..

..know that I pray for you and your family every day..and for God’s favor on
your business and finances..since that is a special way God is using your
life..since the $$$ has to come from someplace…and there aren’t many who
have been blessed..or have been blessed with a heart to see the Lord’s work
go forth..please pray and let me know what you can do to help me..I really
appreciate it..

In His love and service,
Your friend and co-laborer in His work,

Satan is NOT subtle when he sends people and circumstances to try and
destroy you.  Flip Wilson was a comedian in the ’70s who made famous the
line, “the devil made me do it.”  Flip Wilson incorporated into his comedy
routine the common excuse many make when they sin, blaming their actions on
the devil.  In reality, while the devil may tempt you, YOU are the one who
makes the choice to sin or to not sin.  The devil can’t make you sin, he can
only entice you to sin.  You are the one who ultimately has to make the
choice to follow God, or follow satan.

Let me give you a word of encouragement this morning.  Satan is never subtle
when he sends people or when he sends circumstances into your life.  This is
a very important point for you to understand.  Satan is NEVER subtle when he
sends people or when he sends circumstances designed to destroy you.  Never
forget that Jesus clearly exposed the goal of satan in John chapter 10 when
He told us that satan comes to kill, steal, and destroy.  Please never lose
sight that satan is out to destroy YOU!

The fact remains however, that when satan sends a person or people, when he
sends circumstances to destroy you, there is that moment in time where there
is NO DOUBT this is NOT coming from God but from the enemy of our souls.
People give satan way too much credit.  Yes he can be clever, yes he can be
subtle, but think with me for a minute.  Look back on your own life and
experiences.  Whether you were saved or not, when satan sent a person or
circumstance into your life it was like the jackpot on a slot machine,
lights flashing, whistles and bells going off.  Even if it was only for one
of those “frozen moments in time,” you KNEW that person or that circumstance
was NOT from God.

This is so important, I want to make sure you don’t miss what I am saying to
you.  We all have that “still small voice” that speaks to us.  When you are
saved, in that daily intimate relationship with Christ, you hear that voice
loud and clear.  But even for those who are not saved, not walking with the
Lord, actually living their lives in rebellion to God and His Word, that
voice still exists.  Though it may be faint, though that person may not
understand who it is, God speaks to all of us.  When satan sends a person
and circumstance into your life, God will tell you this is NOT from Him.
The key becomes, do we listen to that “still small voice” or do we simply
ignore it.

Now we are at that place I speak of so often when during the course of the
day we have many opportunities to follow God or follow satan.  Whether you
like to hear it or not, when you are not following God, YOU ARE FOLLOWING
SATAN.  When you choose sin, YOU CHOOSE SATAN.  It is the free will God has
given to us to obey Him or to not obey Him.  We get those opportunities many
times throughout the course of every day.  It is our opportunity to prove
that we really do love the Lord as we claim to, since Jesus said, “if you
love me you will obey me.”

I love you and care about you so much.  I will be praying for you today.
Praying that you will not succumb to the temptations satan will send into
your life.  If you look back on your life, look back on those people, those
circumstances that clearly were not from God but from the enemy, you will
remember that “frozen moment in time” when that “still small voice” was
speaking to you, trying to warn you.  In that moment, you KNEW, you KNEW,
you KNEW, that this person, this circumstance was NOT from God and you
should RUN.  Like I shared with you one day last week, we must run FROM sin,
not run TO sin.

Know that God loves you very much and has given us wonderful defense
mechanisms to protect us from the evil one.  God has given us a built-in
alarm system like you have on your home.  When someone tries to break in,
the alarm sounds, lights come on, the police are called, it is obvious
someone is trying to break in.  Likewise, when satan sends a person, sends a
circumstance into our lives, the alarm sounds within us as God’s way of
trying to protect us from falling into sin and destroying our life.  God
clearly warns us that that person, that circumstance is NOT from Him.  It
now becomes our choice to listen to God’s warning or to ignore it.

Again, I will be praying for you today as God reveals to you those people
and circumstances sent by satan.  I will be  praying that you will call upon
His strength to not fall into satan’s trap.  Don’t forget, the devil can’t
make you do anything.  He can try and tempt you, try and trap you, but in
the end, it is YOUR CHOICE.  Satan is not subtle when he sends people and
circumstances to destroy you, the key is for you to listen to God’s warnings
when they come and flee from temptation.

***With just under 2 weeks left in this month, as we wind down our 8th year
of Liveprayer we still need to raise $55,000 to cover the rest of our August
financial obligations.  Please take some time over the weekend and spend
some time with the Lord regarding what you can do to help me by the end of
the month.  God doesn’t expect you to give what you don’t have, only what
you do.  Simply pray, seek the Lord, and than be obedient as you cheerfully
give.  God uses people like you to make a difference in the eternal souls of
men, and there is no better place that you can invest your money than the
life-changing, soul-saving work here at Liveprayer.

Also, at the start of the month I asked for 12 people who God has blessed to
step up and make a one-time gift of $5,000 to help me cover the first months
expenses of the new Liveprayer AM program that will be seen “live” every
Mon-Fri from 7:30-8:30 a.m. on WTTA-TV38 in the Tampa market, and streamed
live on Liveprayer.com and available on our “Show Archives” link.  So far, 3
have responded to this special need, and I really need 9 who God has blessed
with the ability to help me to step up.

WTOG-CW44

A prophetic voice for a season.  Over the past few months, on top of
everything else that I have to do each day, I have forced myself to take
some time to pray and plan for the day when God calls me home and my work in
this life is finished.  In reviewing and updating all of the plans that are
in place for what happens to me after I die, I have also been working on the
plans for Liveprayer and this ministry once I am gone.

As I share with you often, the Bible clearly teaches us that tomorrow is not
promised to any of us, including me.  So during this time the last few
weeks, I have spent many hours in God’s Word reading about the life of many
of the prophets in the Old Testament.  Today, I want to share what the Holy
Spirit has laid on my heart and take the opportunity to challenge you to
prepare for that day we will all face when God says our work here is
completed and He calls us home.

Let me start by sharing with you some of the personal decisions I have made
regarding that time when my life here is over.  First, I have a Living Will,
something I would encourage everyone to have.  This way, there are no
questions what you want to happen should you end up in a position where you
can’t make choices regarding your care.  Personally, I have it stated very
clear that I am NOT to be kept alive by any artificial means, that includes
feeding tubes and hydration.  I have no desire to have my clay tablet keep
clinically alive if I can’t function and be productive.  After all, it is
only prolonging the inevitable, so I have chosen to simply be allowed to die
naturally and enjoy whatever eternity will bring.

Second, I have talked to my wife and family and informed them that I would
not be having a funeral or memorial service.  Having preached hundreds of
funerals over the years, I fully understand that a funeral or memorial
service is for those who are still living.  However, I have shared with my
family that we should take advantage of the opportunities we have while we
are alive to spend time together, enjoy that special bond family members
share, and when I die they can find comfort first in the fact that I am
forever with Jesus and second in the wonderful memories of our lives
together.  People’s lives are busy, so rather than having them burdened with
travel, taking off work, and all that is involved in coming to a funeral, I
want them to just take some time and reflect on the wonderful times we
shared.

Third, I have chosen to donate any organs that are useful, and then my body
is going to be cremated.  The Bible tells us that our bodies will return to
the dust of the earth.  That can happen slowly over time if you are buried,
or quickly if you are cremated.  The end result is the same.  The fact is
how a dead body is disposed of is a cultural issue and not something the
Bible commands us to do in one way or another.

I’ll share a special secret with you.  Once I am cremated, the last thing I
have asked my dear wife to do for me is take my ashes, get on a plane to my
hometown of Columbus, Ohio, go to Ohio Stadium (affectionately known by
Buckeye fans as “The Horseshoe”), and spread my ashes across the
50-yard-line.  Once I die, you will be able to watch an Ohio State home game
and know that Bill is right there on the 50, rooting for his beloved
Buckeyes!

Let me encourage you to not neglect taking the time to pray about and plan
what you want to happen to you once you die.  It is not fair for your spouse
and family to have to deal with the grief of your passing, plus, have to
make all of the decisions regarding your final arrangements.  Please, sit
down and pray and plan out all of those details, make sure you have a Living
Will that spells out your wishes and how all of your financial affairs will
be handled, and prepare ahead of time so that when God calls you home, your
final arrangement will be already taken care of.

For the past several years, my Board Members have really been on me to have
a plan in place for Liveprayer after I die.  Let me share with you what the
Holy Spirit has spoken into my heart about that.  First of all, I know that
my real legacy is not the Liveprayer organization, but it is the hearts and
lives God has used me to reach for Him during my life.  After much counsel
from men older and much wiser than I am, I have come to realize that
Liveprayer is really simply the organizational shell for the work God has
called me to do.

As these men have told me, God has raised me up for this season to share His
Truth and the hope of Christ with a lost and hurting world.  God has given
me the vision to reach the lost masses outside the traditional ways of the
existing church or Christian media.  It is God who has sovereignly raised up
my voice through the Internet and on secular TV to reach those who are not
being reached otherwise.  These men told me that the prophets of old were
raised up by God at a specific point in their life, and for a season they
declared His Truth to the world of their day.

This caused me to really dig in and study the lives of many of the Old
Testament prophets.  They were not men of great wealth or position or power.
They shared the common trait of simply being men who loved God and were
yielded to His Spirit as vessels He could use to accomplish His plan and
purpose through their lives.  We know very little about them before God
sovereignly raised them up.  They were used by God for a season and you
never heard from them again, but they made an impact on the people of their
day for God!

I did not answer God’s call into the ministry nearly 18 years ago for fame
or money, only to serve Him.  Having Liveprayer continue on as some sort of
legacy has never been something I have been worried or concerned about.  As
I mentioned, my real legacy is in the hearts and lives of those God has
allowed me to minister to over the years.  However, in trying to be a good
steward of what God has produced in my life, we are putting into place a
plan that after I am in Glory the website, the infrastructure to pray for
people who email us each day, will remain in tact.

The Liveprayer Interactive CD-Rom is something I view as an instrument God
will be using to bring people to faith in Christ long after I am dead.  We
have memorialized ALL of the Daily Devotionals and have them accessible on
the website in a searchable data base.  In addition, we will be creating an
archive with the over 2 million praise reports we have received over the
past 96 months to glorify God and encourage people that what God has done
for someone else, He will do for them.

As for the TV program, we have archived DVDs of every program we have done,
1065 to date.  After I die, there will be a plan in place to go through all
of the TV programs that exist at that time and create some sort of “best of”
collection that will be made available on the website.  This will include my
opening monologues on a whole range of issues, calls from viewers, and many
of the amazing things that happen on the TV program that will not only share
the Truth of God’s Word with people, but allow them to see God’s hand
working in real lives as a testimony of His love and power to literally
transform real lives every day.

One of the biggest errors I have seen in ministries over the years is trying
to put the work of God in a box, perpetuate a ministry past its time,
duplicate it, and sell it like a widget.  There is nothing wrong with
organization, God calls us to be organized.  But sadly, too many ministries
birthed by the Spirit of the Living God lose their power once they become
“structured” and “organized.”  Also, God usually raises up men and women for
a “season.”  It is our flesh that wants to see what we do continue on and on
and never end.

A work of God is not like McDonald’s.  YOU CAN’T DUPLICATE A SOVEREIGN MOVE
OF GOD!  What worked in one place because of God’s Sprit, will not work in
another place just because you do it the exact same way.  You can’t package
and sell a move of God.  Actually you can, we see it happen all the time.
Again, the problem is what God did sovereignly in one place does NOT mean He
will do that same thing somewhere else, and those who try to purchase a move
of God are wasting their money.

I love you and care about you so much.  As someone who comes out of a
business background, God has had to break me over the years from treating
Liveprayer like a normal business.  Yes, there is a business side to the
ministry.  Yes, there needs to be an organized structure in order to operate
each day.  Yes, churches and some ministries are raised up to operate for
generations.  However, God has told me clearly that Liveprayer is but for a
season.  That is why I am not worried about building buildings, or having a
huge staff other than what we need to do His work each day, or finding
someone to replace me when I am gone.

The best business model to describe Liveprayer is that of the Old Testament
prophet or even the ministry of Paul.  You don’t read about Paul Ministry
Incorporated after his martyrdom.  His work ceased with his homegoing, but
his legacy and the effects of his work are still seen today in the hearts
and lives he impacted for the Kingdom of God.

I am completely at peace that the infrastructure to pray for millions each
year through the Internet will continue, that the words God has written
through me each day over these many years will still exist to change hearts
and lives, that the power of God demonstrated on the TV program night after
night has been preserved, but beyond that what God has called me to do is
for a season that will end when He calls me home to Glory.

I will pray for you today to not only insure that you prepare for the time
when your journey through this life is complete, but that you begin to pray
about your spiritual legacy as well.  Your greatest legacy will be in those
hearts and lives you touch for Christ during your life.  I pray today that
you will realize that each day God gives you opportunities to share His
Truth and the hope you have in Christ with others, and long after you are in
Heaven, you will live on in those lives you have touched for Christ.  The
reality is, we are all here but for a season.  As those faithful men and
women of God before have done, let us make our season count!

***With just under 2 weeks left in this month, as we wind down our 8th year
of Liveprayer we still need to raise $55,000 to cover the rest of our August
financial obligations.  Please take some time over the weekend and seek the
Lord regarding what you can do to help me by the end of the month.  God
doesn’t expect you to give what you don’t have, only what you do.  Simply
pray, seek the Lord, and then be obedient as you cheerfully give.  God uses
people like you to make a difference in the eternal souls of men, and there
is no better place that you can invest your money than the life-changing,
soul-saving work here at Liveprayer.

Also, at the start of the month I asked for 12 people who God has blessed to
step up and make a one-time gift of $5,000 to help me cover the first
month’s expenses of the new Liveprayer AM program that will be seen “live”
every Mon-Fri from 7:30-8:30 a.m. on WTTA-TV38 in the Tampa market, and
streamed live on Liveprayer.com and available on our “Show Archives” link.
So far, 3 have responded to this special need, and I really need 9 who God
has blessed with the ability to help me to step up.

TO GIVE A GIFT TO LIVEPRAYER, you can use your major credit card on our
secure sever at: www.liveprayer.com under the “Donation” link, you can give
using your PayPal account using my email address: bkeller@liveprayer.com ,
or you can mail your gift to: Liveprayer, 6660 46th Ave. North, St.
Petersburg, FL 33709. All gifts to Liveprayer are 100% tax deductible.

Thank you for your sacrifice and making a difference in the lives and
eternal souls of those we reach each day because you were obedient and
faithful!!!

You shall have no Other gods Before Me……. Friday, Aug 17 2007

“You shall have no other gods before me.”  Exodus 20:3

The God of the Bible is NOT the same as “allah” of Islam!!!  Today, I need
to dispel the colossal error so many, including our President, make in
thinking that God, THE CREATOR, the God of the Bible, is the same as “allah”
of the false religion of Islam.  Let me insure you understand something at
the very start.  There is only one God and that is the God of the Bible.
“Allah,” is actually the imaginary god created out of the deranged mind of
Mohammed when he dreamed up this false religion we know of as Islam 1400
years ago.  Allah is nothing but a poor imitation and rip-off of THE GOD and
is no more real than Harry Potter is!!!  When you study the attributes of
the God of the Bible and of allah, it is clear and obvious these are NOT the
same person!

Sadly, a Catholic bishop in the Netherlands is asking churches in that
country to use the name allah for God to “ease tensions between Muslims and
Christians.”  You have go to be kidding me!!!  I expect this type of foolish
thinking from politicians and people of the world, but from a priest?  I
have a better idea for this dear bishop.  Why not tell Muslims to start
using the name God for allah since God is real and allah is not!!!  Let me
help educate this bishop about Islam.  Tensions will never be eased between
Muslims and Christians since they consider Christians infidels and are
commanded in the book Mohammed wrote to kill all infidels!  Islam is not
interested in easing tensions, it is about death to all who refuse to
believe Mohammed’s fantasies!

WorldNet Daily recently reported, “An international ministry organization
reaching out to Christians in Iraq is confirming the pressure from Muslims
on Christians to abandon their faith or their homes is rising, with videos
of actual beheadings used to threaten believers.”  A San Francisco reporter
was recently gunned down and murdered outside of his home for his negative
stories on a Muslim bakery in that city.  The Muslim activist group with
ties to terror groups CAIR, Council on American-Islamic Relations, has been
relentlessly attacking Liveprayer.  They have been doing everything they can
to get us off the Internet and television since we have the audacity to tell
the truth that Islam is a false religion about hate and death and those who
follow their lies will die and go to hell unless they repent and turn to
Jesus

Forty years ago, there would have been no need to even write a Devotional
like this. Not only does the need exist for me to have to address this issue
today, but it is a message that the world AND the church needs to hear. You
see my friend, there is only ONE GOD, and that is the God of the Bible. The
God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. When we pray, there is only ONE GOD that
we pray to, the God of the Bible. All other gods are false gods. Praying to
a false god is as productive as praying to a tree, your refrigerator, or a
toilet. There is only ONE GOD that hears and answers our prayers, and that
is the God who Created the heavens and earth, the God who Created you and
me, the God of the Bible.

It is critical that when we are talking with someone and use the name “God,”
we call Him the “God of the Bible.” That way, there will not be any
confusion to those we are talking to, who you are talking about. Because we
are a nation where people are free to worship whatever god they want, and
with the influx in the past 100 years of people from every corner of the
globe who have brought their false gods with them , not to mention the
aggressive marketing and recruiting campaigns by every cult known to the
world, simply saying, “God,” is not good enough. That is why you need to
start making it a practice in your day-to-day conversation to call God, the
God of the Bible.

I am aware of the various names that the Bible calls God by, but there are
many false religions in the world that use all of the various names we have
for God. There is no way to say, “God,” and be 100% positive everyone
understands which god you are speaking about unless you call Him the GOD OF
THE BIBLE. Also, when you hear someone use the name God, DO NOT just assume
they are talking about the God of the Bible!

Let me make this perfectly clear. Allah is NOT God! Buddha is NOT God! The
god of the Mormon cult is NOT God! The god of the Jehovah’s Witness cult is
NOT God! The god of the Kabbalh cult is NOT God! The god of the Hindu is NOT
God! The god of Scientology is NOT God! The god of the Christian Science
cult is NOT God! All of the gods of the false religions of the world are NOT
God! My friend, there is but ONE GOD, He is the GOD OF THE BIBLE!

I want to expose, for you right now, one of the politically-correct traps
that many Christians have fallen into, and it needs to stop now. It is a
subtle trap of satan that they have fallen into so they don’t offend anyone.
I think it is comical that satan has no problem offending Christians every
moment of every day, yet we are supposed to be sensitive to people’s
“feelings.” Let me tell you right now, if you are REALLY sensitive to people
’s feelings, you will tell them the truth of God’s Word so that they don’t
perish for eternity.

Many high-profile Christians who talk to large audiences of Christians and
non-Christians, those in the public arena, will use the name of God. I have
no doubt they are speaking of the God of the Bible. I have no doubt that
their Christian listeners understand they are referring to the God of the
Bible. But I also have no doubt that those non-Christians hear the name God
and believe it to be whatever false god thy may believe in. I can guarantee
you when a Muslim hears the name, “God,” he is thinking of allah. Allah is
no more the God of the Bible than Mickey Mouse is. They are both fictional
characters! I can guarantee you that when a Mormon hears the name, “God,” he
is thinking of the god of Mormon theology. The god of the Mormon cult is no
more the God of the Bible than Jesus and Lucifer are brothers as that cult
believes!

I love you and care about you so much. I realize that while we have been
sleeping and not paying attention, we now have laws that take the God of the
Bible out of the public discourse. They have taken God out of the schools,
removed Him from all public buildings, are trying to take His name out of
the Pledge, working on removing Him from our money, and will continue to do
everything they can to eliminate God. Now more than ever, those who know the
God of the Bible must do everything we can to insure that HIS name is
clearly identified and boldly proclaimed to this lost world since He is the
only hope we have.

I will be praying for you today. Praying that when you say the name God, you
identify Him as the God of the Bible so that those who hear you will have no
doubt who you are talking about. In this lost and hurting world there are
many false gods, but there is only ONE TRUE GOD. That is the God of Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob, the God who created the heavens and the earth. When we
pray, there is only ONE GOD to pray to who hears and answers our prayers,
that is the God of the Bible!!!

And Now a Word From Charles Spurgeon…….. Thursday, Aug 16 2007

Remain true to the faith.  Along our journey of faith, God knows when we
need encouragement, when our flesh is weak and we need to be challenged to
press on.  I am no different than you or any other man.  I have my times of
weakness, my moments of doubt, those days when the battles are simply too
fierce.  Satan is only too happy to seize those moments as he did when Jesus
was in the wilderness for 40 days and nights.  He comes to tempt me, acting
as my friend who is concerned about my well being, giving me all the
justification I need to take my eyes off the prize.  This is how satan will
come to you as well.  Listen to me carefully.  SATAN IS A LIAR!  HE IS NOT
OUR FRIEND!  HIS GOAL IS TO KILL, STEAL AND DESTROY….YOU AND ME!!!

Several months ago a dear friend sent me an excerpt from the writings of
that great preacher and theologian from the 1800’s Charles Spurgeon.  As
God’s timing is always perfect, it came at a moment when I needed some
encouragement.  The weight of the work was extremely heavy and the flesh
weary that day.  I sat at my desk and read Spurgeon’s’ words and tears
literally ran down my cheeks as I was read about my life, my battles, my
challenges in his poignant words.  I have printed out that passage he wrote
and keep it with me.  I refer to it often since it so perfectly sums up my
life.  It also perfectly sums up the life of any follower of Christ who is
sold out to serve the Lord until their dying breath.

I want to share those powerful words with you today.  I pray that they will
inspire and encourage you as much as they have me so many days.  They really
sum up what this journey is all about.  There is perhaps no greater
challenge we have as followers of Christ than to remain true to the faith.
So many over the years have been like Demas who we read about in the Book of
Acts.  Demas was a man serving God, but decided to turn back to the world.
In those moments of temptation I often think back to the words of Peter.
When asked by Jesus if he would turn away from the Lord Peter boldly
responded in John 6:68, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of
eternal life!”  That is why the child of God presses on, remains true to the
faith.  To whom shall we go?

Spurgeon writes:  “Perseverance is the badge of true saints. The Christian
life is not a beginning only in the ways of God, but also a continuance in
the same as long as life lasts. It is with a Christian as it was with the
great Napoleon: he said, “Conquest has made me what I am, and conquest must
maintain me.” So, under God, dear brother in the Lord, conquest has made you
what you are, and conquest must sustain you. Your motto must be,
“Excelsior.” He only is a true conqueror, and shall be crowned at the last,
who continueth till war’s trumpet is blown no more. Perseverance is,
therefore, the target of all our spiritual enemies. The world does not
object to your being a Christian for a time, if she can but tempt you to
cease your pilgrimage, and settle down to buy and sell with her in Vanity
Fair. The flesh will seek to ensnare you, and to prevent your pressing on to
glory. “It is weary work being a pilgrim; come, give it up. Am I always to
be mortified? Am I never to be indulged? Give me at least a furlough from
this constant warfare.” Satan will make many a fierce attack on your
perseverance; it will be the mark for all his arrows. He will strive to
hinder you in service: he will insinuate that you are doing no good; and
that you want rest. He will endeavour to make you weary of suffering, he
will whisper, “Curse God, and die.” Or he will attack your steadfastness:
“What is the good of being so zealous? Be quiet like the rest; sleep as do
others, and let your lamp go out as the other virgins do.” Or he will assail
your doctrinal sentiments: “Why do you hold to these denominational creeds?
Sensible men are getting more liberal; they are removing the old landmarks:
fall in with the times.” Wear your shield, Christian, therefore, close upon
your armour, and cry mightily unto God, that by His Spirit you may endure to
the end.”

AMEN…AMEN….AND AMEN!!!

I love you and care about you so much.  I pray today that you will pray over
these powerful words, reading them over and over.  They sum up so eloquently
the challenge of remaining true to the faith.  The challenge to not turn
away from serving the Lord after a season to go back into the world.  The
temptation to indulge the flesh.  The lies that the work you do for the Lord
is all in vain and makes no difference.  The physical battle of fighting
weariness and fatigue.  The war against apathy and political correctness.
These are all very real issues those who serve the Lord must face along
their journey through life as they strive to remain true to the faith.

I pray today that these words will challenge and encourage you in your
personal journey.  It is our steadfastness and perseverance that satan will
assail.  A Christian does not scare satan, however, a Christian who is
steadfast and perseveres no matter what life throws his way is the enemy’s
worst nightmare!  I hear every day from people who tell me they have
followed the exploits of Liverpayer over these many years and have been
encouraged by the fact no matter what challenges come our way we keep
pressing forward, faithfully serving the Lord and trusting Him each step of
the way, and then see the incredible fruit from that steadfastness and
perseverance.  I try my best daily to set an example for you that Jesus has
already won the victory, our responsibility is to simply remain true to the
faith!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

***NEW PHONE NUMBERS FOR THE “WALK THRU THE BIBLE IN A YEAR” PHONE LINE AND THE DAILY DEVOTIONAL PHONE LINE!!!   Last weekend, the amount of traffic on these two phone services literally crashed the servers.  We have had to
re-build both platforms and assign new phone numbers to them.  These new
numbers should be operational today.  The new number for the “Walk Thru the
Bible  in a Year” is 1-727-342-5672, and the new number to listen to the
Daily Devotional over the phone is 1-727-342-5673.

The “sex spirit.” This is the spirit that is responsible for fornication,
adultery, lust, homosexuality, and every other sexual sin. After all, we
know there has to be some reason so many people commit sexual sin and the
“sex spirit” is the answer. Since sexual sin is something almost everyone
fights at some point in their life, I should actually write a book about the
“sex spirit.” It would sell millions of copies worldwide to people who are
Christians as well as to those who are not. It would actually be a best
seller in the homosexual community and to others who have rejected God’s
plan for sex since it would explain their actions. I could actually take a
few verses here and a few verses there to even make a Biblical case for the
“sex spirit.”

However, there is only one small problem, THERE IS NO SUCH THING!!! I am
sorry to have to tell you this, but there is NO “sex spirit.” It doesn’t
exist. Oh trust me, I know people want it to exist. They want something to
blame their sinful behavior on and blaming it on a “sex spirit” would be
perfect. You see, if there really was a “sex spirit,” then you don’t have to
take responsibility for YOUR CHOICES since it wasn’t you, it was the “sex
spirit” that made you do it.

When you read the Bible cover to cover, one of the things you understand is
that the Bible is a book of personal responsibility. We are personally
responsible for the choices we make in our life. Blaming someone or
something else doesn’t work! Ever since man committed the very first sin in
the Garden of Eden, he has been trying to blame his sin on someone or
something else. Look at Adam. When confronted with his sin by God what did
he do? HE BLAMED GOD AND EVE!!! Like I say so often, we have not changed one
bit since the Garden. But God was not interested in Adam’s excuse and God is
not interested in your excuse either.

I’m not sure if you noticed lately, but God is one smart guy. You see, God
gave us something called “free will.” Free will means we are NOT
pre-programmed robots, but have the ability to make our own choices
throughout our life. The upside to this is that we can choose to do whatever
we want. If you want to be an Adolph Hitler and commit your life to
destroying lives and killing millions of people, you can do it. If you want
to be a Billy Graham and commit your life to preaching the Gospel to the
world and be used by God to bring millions to know Christ as their Savior,
you can do it. Free will means you have the ability to choose to do whatever
you want.

Because God gave man free will, it also means that we are PERSONALLY
RESPONSIBLE for the choices that we make. Now I understand in today’s
society accepting personal responsibility is not popular. We have to always
find a “reason” why people do the things they do. Children that are
hyperactive, have way too much energy, who act like children should are now
told they have ADD or ADHD. While in a percentage of cases there may be a
medical issue that exists, in most cases it is simply an excuse for children
that have not been properly disciplined or are simply just being kids.

No place do we see people making excuses for their choices more than in the
criminal justice system. It is the job of well paid defense lawyers to dream
up excuses to explain away a person’s criminal actions. They have come up
with every reason you can imagine to explain why a person who committed a
crime was not really responsible for their actions. This mentality has
permeated to every part of our society, and finding reasons to explain why
people are not responsible for the choices they make has become an art.

Let me make sure you understand, this may work in the world in which we
live, but it doesn’t work with God. God has given us free will to make our
own choices, but along with that freedom, comes the responsibility for
whatever choices we make. God is not interested in your excuse why you
sinned, only in you taking responsibility for that sin. He has even given us
a wonderful promise in 1 John 1:9 that tells us, if we will confess our
sins, take personal responsibility for our sins, He will not only forgive us
but cleanse us from all unrighteousness. All God wants us to do is to be
honest, not make excuses, and take personal responsibility for the choices
we make.

I love you and care about you so much. I am sorry that there is no “sex
spirit,” or anything else you can blame for sin in that area. God has given
us the choice to either obey Him, or disobey Him. When we choose to disobey
Him, it was not another person, a “spirit,” or anything else we can blame.
It was OUR CHOICE. I will be praying for you today, praying that you will
realize that you have got to be responsible for whatever choices you make in
this life. You, and you alone made those choices, and you, and you alone
have to be responsible for the choices you make.

This is why the moment we die and stand before God, there is only one
question He is going to ask us. It is not what day of the week we went to
church. It is not the name of the building we choose to worship Him in. It
is not how successful you may have been in this life. No my friend, the only
question God is going to ask you is, “Do you have a personal relationship by
faith with my Son Jesus.” You either do, or you don’t. If you do, God will
welcome you into His presence for eternity. If you don’t, you will be
eternally separated from God your Creator. Period.

If you don’t, God is NOT going to be interested in any of your excuses. “Jim
and Tammy had an air conditioned dog house.” The pastor in my church ran off
with the choir director.” “Somebody was mean to me at church.” “Christians
are hypocrites.” “I don’t like Bill Keller.” “All they care about is money.”
” I was a good person.” “The Bible was written by mere men.” “My dog ate my
homework.” No, God is not going to be interested in hearing any of your
excuses for why you rejected Jesus Christ as your Savior. That is a personal
decision each person must make in this life, and each person will be held
responsible by God for eternity for that decision.

If you have not made the decision to accept Christ into your heart and life
by faith, the Bible says that TODAY is the day of salvation. I would invite
you to go to,  http://www.liveprayer.com/bdy_salvatn.cfm  . Pray to ask God
to open your heart, read the words, pray the prayer, and accept today God’s
gift to you of everlasting life through His son Jesus Christ.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

Texas Stuffed Grilled Burgers Tuesday, Aug 14 2007

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 pounds lean ground beef
  • 6 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons hickory seasoning (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 2 cups chopped fresh mushrooms
  • 2 cups chopped cooked ham
  • 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat a grill for high heat. When the grill is hot, lightly oil the grate.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, hickory seasoning, salt and pepper until well blended. Make 20 balls, and flatten into patties. On one half of the patties, distribute the onions, mushrooms, ham and cheese. Carefully cover the piles with the remaining patties, making sure to seal all of the edges of the patties together tightly and enclose the filling.
  3. Grill the patties for 8 to 10 minutes per side, or until meat is well done, and cheese in the center is melted.
