God Wants To Use You……..Yes, You!!! Friday, Nov 16 2007

***COMING TOMORROW!  2008 promises to be an explosive year.  Oprah will be
using her media empire to promote New Age teachings, Christian leaders will
sell out the Truth and souls in hopes of having political power, and the
spiritual freefall our nation is in will get worse.  It is an environment
ripe for revival and most likely our last opportunity to turn back to God
and His Truth before we see and feel His wrath unleashed upon us.  This is a
message you can’t afford to miss!

***LIVEPRAYER TV PROGRAM is seen “live” every Monday thru Friday from
7:30-8:00 a.m. on WXPX-ION66 in the Tampa market.  You can also view it

A word of encouragement for you today. As you sit in your home, your office,
or wherever you read the Daily Devotional, I want to give you a word of
encouragement today. God wants to use your life for His glory! Think about
this for a moment. The God who created the heavens and earth, the God who
created you and me in His image, GOD HIMSELF, wants to use YOUR LIFE! I
don’t know about you but just the thought blows me away. The fact that THE
GOD wants to use me is mind boggling. It is true, God wants to use your
life!!!

I love reading the Biblical accounts when God calls a person to serve Him.
Some say no, some obediently follow, and others make excuses why they aren’t
adequate. The reality is, all men are born to serve and glorify God their
Creator with their lives. That is the universal purpose for all men. So we
shouldn’t be shocked or surprised when God calls us, since He is only asking
us to do what we were created for, to serve Him!

Apart from our universal purpose to serve and glorify the Lord with our
lives, God calls each of us to do that in unique ways. He gives each of us
special gifts and talents in order to be able to serve Him in the specific
area He calls us to serve. Most people understand their universal purpose in
life is to serve God, but are not very clear what God is specifically
calling them to do with their life. This is another area where your daily,
intimate, personal walk with the Lord becomes so important.

The closer we are to God, the better we “hear” God, the better we understand
God, the easier it is for us to find those areas of service He is calling us
to. Never forget the passions you have, what you enjoy doing, what gets you
excited, exist because that is how God made you. In serving the Lord, you
should find ways to serve that incorporate the things you enjoy and are
passionate about in this life. Serving God is not supposed to be something
that you dread but something that you look forward to and enjoy!

Remember that a couple of the big ways God speaks to us is through other
people and through our circumstances. Nothing that happens in your life is
an accident or a coincidence. God brings people into our life, speaks to us
through other people, God allows things to happen to us, He opens and closes
doors in our lives, all to guide us where He wants us to be and doing the
things He wants us to be doing. That is why we need to be tuned in to what
God may be saying to us through others and through our circumstances. Often
it is God speaking to us and trying to guide us where He wants us to be.

In serving God, don’t be misled that this means doing something on a grand
scale or what the world would notice because it was something so visible and
affecting so many people. I would guess that 99.9% of the people who have
served the Lord over the ages were people whose name the world never knew.
Most people know who Paul is, and Billy Graham, and many of the world-renown
men and women of God who have made an impact on millions with their lives.
But in the eyes of God, the faithful service of someone carrying groceries
to a poor family, someone using their gift of music in their local church,
someone visiting those in the prisons and nursing homes, someone who holds a
Bible study at their job, someone who passes out tracts, is just as
important as someone whose name is known by the masses.

You don’t need to stand in a pulpit and preach to thousands, or write books
read by millions, or reach nations on TV or radio, or operate an
Internet./TV ministry reaching millions of people worldwide daily to serve
the Lord. We are ALL called to serve the Lord, each in our own special and
unique way, and nobody’s service is more important than someone else’s. What
IS important is that we are faithful and obedient to serve the Lord to the
best of our ability. Never forget, it is our heart that God sees and is
concerned about.

I love you and care about you so much. My word of encouragement for you
today is that God, yes THE God, has called you to serve Him. I want to
encourage you that serving the Lord is not only the universal purpose of
life we all share, but as a follower of Jesus Christ something we are
commanded to do. My challenge to you today is to open your heart and seek
the Lord and let HIM guide you to those areas of service He has called you
to. Each of us are special and unique, with special and unique gifts and
talents, so we have all been called to serve our Lord in different ways.

Never forget that we live in a world that has rejected God, the Truth of His
Word, and Jesus. It is to this lost and hurting world that God has called us
to service. As each son and daughter of the Lord answers that call to
service, we are being the salt of the earth and the light to this world
Jesus has called us to be. It is through our service to the Lord that this
lost world sees Jesus in us and has a desire to get to know Him. The Bible
says that we are His ambassadors. It is in our service that we bring the
hope and love of Jesus Christ to the lost and hurting in our world each day.

I will be praying for you. I pray today that God will move on your heart and
help you to continue serving Him with even more conviction and enthusiasm.
If you have not been doing all you should in serving the Lord, let this word
today motivate you and challenge you to follow Him and as He guides you in
your service. He will open and close doors, speak to you through others,
cause circumstances to occur in your life to show you the things that you
should be doing for Him. Don’t forget, service is not an option it is a
commandment from our Lord.

In these days when the world preaches and teaches that your success is
judged by how many people serve you, let me remind you that in God’s eyes,
your success in this life is measured by how many people you serve!!!

Reduce heat to medium-low, sprinkle flour over the top of the contents of the pan and cover with a lid. Simmer for 40 to 45 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.

Mormonism and Islam and Women Wednesday, Nov 14 2007

***CHINA UPDATE!  How interesting.  On Friday, the Chinese government issued a press release that stated visitors and athletes WOULD now be allowed to bring their Bible to the upcoming 2008 Summer Games in Beijing, though each person will be limited to just one.  It will be interesting to see just how much freedom there will be in China during the Olympics for people to worship and share their faith.  As always, I will keep you updated as events unfold.

***COMING TOMORROW, the reality of hell as the eternal home of the souls of those people who die without Jesus Christ.  I am amazed at how many Christians believe that someone can reject Christ and still end up in Heaven, when that is NOT what the Bible teaches.  Don’t miss this important word EVERYONE needs to read!

***In conjunction with this Devotional today, I have recorded a very special video message to Ann Romney, wife of Republican Presidential candidate and Mormon cult member Mitt Romney, as well as one to all women who follow the false religion of Islam.  I will supply you with a link to both of these powerful video messages in the Wednesday, November 14th Daily Devotional. Also, please forward this Devotional today to every woman you know who is lost in the lies of Mormonism or Islam.  This could be the word to open their eyes and help them renounce satan and turn to faith in Jesus.

The difference between the roles of women who follow Christ, versus women who follow the Mormon cult or the false religion of Islam.  I have to laugh when I hear people who are clearly Biblically illiterate state the Bible demeans women, that God’s Word teaches women are inferior to men, or that Paul was a male chauvinist.  Paul was a revolutionary in his day, teaching God’s Word that men and women were equal when in his culture women were little more than property.  People who make such statements are 100% wrong about what the Bible teaches regarding women and their roles.  Let me say right up front that according to God’s Word a man and a woman are 100% equal, they simply have different roles to play.

In God’s account of creation found in the first chapter of Genesis, the Bible states, “And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”  Paul, in writing to the church at Galatia states, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”  The Bible CLEARLY and without any question teaches that God
created men and women as equals.  The only difference is in the specific roles each has been assigned.

This is NOT SO in many cults and false religions, specifically in the Mormon cult and the false religion of Islam.  I guess if a person was operating in the flesh, it is understandable why a man would buy into the lies of Joey Smith and his Mormon cult, or the false religion of Islam dreamed up by Mohammed 1400 years ago.  Both of these satanically inspired “religions” that have lead millions of souls to hell, with literally over a billion more alive today who are on that conveyor belt to eternal punishment for believing their lies, are designed for and geared towards men.  Women are less than men in every way in both the Mormon cult and the false religion of Islam.

Again, I guess I see why some men would be attracted to these false beliefs. After all, it sounds nice that you die and become the god of your own planet with an unlimited number of women waiting to have sex with you to create “spirit babies” as the Mormon cult teaches, or that a Muslim man can die and go to “paradise” where some ridiculous number of virgins are waiting to have sex with him.  The Bible actually teaches that there will be no marriage in Heaven, no physical bodies which of course means no sex.  Again, satan the father of lies has perverted God’s wonderful gift of sex designed for a husband and wife in this life and used it as a motivation for men to follow a false faith that will lead their souls to hell.

Note:  I can only imagine the sheer horror of those who followed the lies of Smith, when upon their death they realized as they stood before God their Creator that they were not and never would be a “god,” and instead of a planet full of women there were the eternal flames and torment of hell.  No doubt, those who followed the lies of Mohammed also had to be shocked when they died and instead of virgins waiting to have sex with them, was satan welcoming them to a place of eternal punishment.

Something I have never been able to understand is why a woman would want anything to do with either the Mormon cult or the false religion of Islam. In both of these false beliefs woman are unequal to men and really little more than the property of men, no different than a slave.  The Mormon position on women has changed little since the early 1800’s, when the official view was that “woman’s primary place is in the home, where she is
to rear children and abide by the righteous counsel of her husband” (McConkie 844). This attitude, coupled with the doctrine of polygamy and the absolute power claimed by the men of the church, created a legacy of profound sexism which modern Mormonism continues to foster..

Mormonism has created an ingenious system of oppression, in which opposition towards men is tantamount to arguing with God.  At age twelve, boys become members of the Aaronic, or lesser priesthood, and at nineteen become eligible for the Melchezedek, or higher priesthood. Members of either priesthood are higher authorities on everything than are non-members.  Women are, of course, excluded from the priesthood.  This practice in effect says that a woman’s prepubescent son is more qualified to advise her than she is to advise him.

The most notorious example of Mormon treatment of women is, of course, the practice of polygamy. Polygamous marriage is basically essential to Mormon theology. Mormon Doctrine states that God was once a human man, and “He is now a glorified, resurrected Personage having a tangible body of flesh and bones” (250). As a matter of fact, “all gods first existed as spirits, came to an earth to receive bodies, and then, after having passed through a period of probation on the aforesaid earth, were advanced to the exalted position they now enjoy” (Hoekema 38). After death, a good Mormon man who has followed a few certain rules is catapulted to this same status and receives his own planet to populate and rule over (Fife 103). To receive this honor, a man must be “married for eternity” in the Mormon temple. This special marriage is binding after death as well as until it.

“Celestial” marriage, as this eternal marriage is often called, is essential for Mormon women. Without being celestially married to a holder of the priesthood, a woman cannot be “saved” (Green 154).  In the temple marriage ceremony, women are given secret names known only to their husbands, for identification purposes, so their husbands can pull them through to “the other side” after death.  After death, while their husbands are creating and ruling over planets, the women have the questionable honor of bearing his
“spirit children” for eternity.   Because of the doctrine of celestial marriage, it is very difficult for Mormon women to obtain divorces in the church. Women are told that “divorce is usually the result of one or both not living the gospel”, and that a woman who wants a divorce is “untrue to the covenants she has made in the house of the Lord”   A Mormon woman has the joy of looking forward to an eternity of being pregnant!

As for women who are part of the false religion of Islam, they are really little more than slaves and the “property of their husband.”  In Islam, woman are not equal to men in any way.  The Qur’an says that the testimony of a woman is not equal to that of a man. It says that the testimony of two women is required to be equal to the testimony of one man.  Call in two male witnesses from among you, but if two men cannot be found, then one man and two women whom you judge fit to act as witnesses. (Qur’an 2:282 Dawood) Interestingly, Islam teaches the vast majority of those in hell are women. Ibn Abbas reported that Allah’s Messenger said: I had a chance to look into paradise and I found that majority of the people was poor and I looked into the Fire and there I found the majority constituted by women. (Muslim, vol. 4, hadith 6597, p. 1432).

In the false religion of Islam, beating women is not only common, but something their “holy book” encourages.  “And those (wives) you fear may be rebellious admonish; banish them to their couches, and beat them.” (Qur’an 4:34, Arberry)  Many hadiths encourage wife beating.  Umar reported the Prophet as saying, “A man will not be asked about why he beat his wife.” (Mishkat Al-Masabih, p. 693: Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah)  Mohammed was also recorded to have beat his wives.

Of course, a woman’s chief responsibility is to satisfy her husband sexually.  Mohammad gave strong warnings to women who would not accommodate their husbands/masters desire.  Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (p.) said, “if a man invites his wife to sleep with him an she refuses to come to him, then angels send their curses on her till morning.” (Bukhari, vol. 7, hadith 121, p. 93)  For the Muslim man, upon his death he believes there will be many virgins waiting for him.  “Surely for the godfearing awaits a place of security, gardens and vineyards and maidens with swelling breasts, like of age, and a cup overflowing.” (Qur’an 78:31-33, Arberry)  In the world of Islam, women have no legal standing, and are little more than a man’s punching bag and sex object.

I love you and care about you so much  Why a woman would want to be part of the Mormon cult or the false religion of Islam is beyond me.  They are believed to be inferior to men and little more than slaves who exist for the benefit of men.  I have no clue why any woman would want to be part of these lies from the pits of hell, especially when you know the TRUTH about women as God tell us in His Word.  All throughout the Bible, women have played an incredible role in the plan of God. We see women being used by God in incredible ways, helping to fulfill His Divine plan.  Women have always played a key role in God’s work, and I want to make sure we never lose sight of how important they are in the Kingdom of God.

THE LIE OF SATAN THROUGH THE TEACHINGS OF CULTS LIKE MORMONISM AND THE FALSE RELIGION OF ISLAM IS THAT WOMEN ARE INFERIOR TO MEN.  THE TRUTH OF GOD’S WORD TEACHES THAT MEN AND WOMEN ARE EQUAL!!!

I want to encourage women who are following the lies of Mormonism and Islam that you are NOT inferior to a man.  God made you EQUAL with men.  He loves you, has a special plan and purpose for your life, and wants the best for you.  The fact is a large percentage of women in Mormonism and Islam did not choose these beliefs or make a conscience decision to commit their lives to them, they were born or married into them.  You cannot be born or married into Christianity.  It is a choice, a decision you have to make to give your heart and life to Jesus.  He loves you and wants to have an everlasting relationship with you.  You don’t need your parents or a man or anyone else to know Jesus as your personal Savior.  It is a relationship you enter into by faith.

The fact is that all of us, men and women, are born with the sin of Adam in addition to those sins we commit during our life.  It is our sin that separates us from God our Creator.  But God loved us so much, He sent Jesus to die for our sins.  That is why it is faith in Jesus alone, not Mohammed, not the false jesus of Joey Smith, but the Jesus of the Bible who is GOD that will save your soul.  It is not too late.  You can turn from the lies
of Mormonism or Islam today and ask Jesus into your heart and life by faith and He will.  Take a moment, pray, and ask God to open your heart and watch this video clip:  http://www.liveprayer.com/bdy_salvatn.cfm

God Really Loves You Monday, Nov 5 2007

***LIVEPRYAYER AM MOVING THIS MONDAY TO WXPX-TV 66 IN TAMPA!!!  Monday,
November 5, the Liveprayer AM television program will be seen “live” every
Mon-Fri from 7:30-8:00 a.m. on WXPX-TV66, which is owned by the “i”
Network,.  As you know, 2 weeks into our 2-year contract for the new morning
program, Sinclair Broadcasting which owns WTTA in Tampa where the new
Liveprayer AM program was airing, told us we could no longer take live phone
calls.  This is something we have done from day one and is the heart of the
program.  The local station we negotiated the contract  was fully aware of
the fact we took live calls with an 8 second delay to protect the station
from any FCC violations.  We were finally able to move the program off of
that station so we will be able to take live calls again, but the local “I”
Network station in Tampa could only sell us a 1/2 hour time slot due to
network commitments at 8 a.m.  The ministry to the viewers during the live
calls is so important, I agreed to make the move, especially since it is
only for a couple of months.  On Monday, January 7, the plans are for the AM
program to be discontinued as we go back nationwide “live” every Mon-Fri
from Midnight to 1 a.m. on the “i” Network.  For those who watch he program
live on the Internet, the only change is it will be a half hour instead of
an hour, and we will continue to have the most recent 5 programs available
for “On-Demand’ viewing on the “Show Archives” link on the Liveprayer.com
website.

While this may not sound like some earth-shaking, life-changing word from
God’s throneroom, please don’t just dismiss it as something light and
trivial. In the course of calling sin sin, challenging you to live a holy
life and serve the Lord, dealing with all of the issues we face in our
world, this message today may appear on the surface to be not very
important, but it is. I am here to encourage you to do your very best today
and make sure you understand that is all God ever expects of us, to do our
best.

There is one simple message that I want you to hear loud and clear today.
GOD LOVES YOU and all He expects is that you do your best each day. None of
us are perfect. The Bible says that we all have sinned and come short of
God’s glory. In the course of our day-to-day lives, we all fail God, we all
make choices that we wish we could change. But God knows our heart, and all
He has ever asked you to do, is your best.

Each day I deal with the real life issues that we all face, in the context
of God’s Word. I deal with all of the sins that are out there to hurt our
lives. I deal with the tricks that satan uses to try and destroy us. It is
out of my love for you that I share the Absolute Truth of God’s Word and how
He has called us to live. I do my best to break down for you why God’s way
works.

The fact is, there is right and wrong in our world. Those who oppose God
have always done their best to get people to believe that right and wrong
doesn’t exist. Their goal is to get each person to decide for themselves
what is right and wrong. That way, you can never tell a person that they are
wrong no matter what they choose to believe. That sounds wonderful in
theory, but in reality it leads to utter chaos. More important, it is a lie,
since God has clearly told us in His Word what is right and what is wrong.

In the course of applying the truth of God’s Word to our personal lives each
day, it can get frustrating when we sin, when we don’t follow God’s plan.
Again, the word that I want to share with you today is to DO YOUR BEST. Am I
saying it is OK to sin? Of course not.

But 1 John 1:8 tells us that if we say we don’t sin, then we are deceiving
ourselves. What I am saying is that God knows your heart. He knows how
grieved you are when you sin. That is why He has promised to forgive you and
cleanse you of all unrighteousness when you confess your sins to Him (1 John
1:9). What I am saying is that all God expects us to do, is our best each
day. HE LOVES YOU.

I love you too, and care about you so much. I realize that what I write each
day is usually very serious, very heavy, real life issues. It can become
overwhelming trying to live the way God calls us to live, to do it His way.
It is out of His infinite love for you that He teaches you His way, to help
you to avoid the pain and heartache associated with living life your way.

It is out of my love for you that I try to do the best I can each day to
very simply share what God’s way is for your life, again, to help you avoid
having to experience the pain and heartache that living life outside of
God’s plan can bring. But never forget, all any of us can do each day is our
very best, and God understands that.

I will be praying for you today. I pray that you will know the peace, the
joy, and the abundance that this life can offer because of all He did for
us. That is the beauty of our relationship with the Lord. Even in the midst
of the storms, even in the midst of the trials and tribulations of daily
life, we can still experience His peace, His joy, and the abundance of this
life. God loves you more than you will ever know. He cares about you. All He
is asking you to do is your very best.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller
