Joy to the World! Monday, Dec 24 2007

DAILY DEVOTIONAL    MONDAY DECEMBER 24, 2007
(Luke 2:20)

***SINGLE MOMS $$$ ALL IN!!! Thank you so much for those who were lead and
able to help in this last minute effort to provide $200 to provide some
presents and a nice dinner to 100 single moms and their children who have
nothing this Christmas. When the Lord told me to do this last week, I
reminded Him it was the middle of December, we still needed to raise $20,000
to cover the rest of the budget, and with the Holidays fast approaching our
giving usually is very light the last two weeks of the year. God said “trust
me and sow that $20,000 you need into the lives of these moms and their
children and you will be blessed.” After 100 months of Liveprayer literally
operating month to month, I know that God doesn’t lie and that He will bless
those who made the sacrifice to help me and continue to provide for our
needs to so we can bring His Truth and the hope and love of Christ to this
lost and hurting world!!!

PLEASE TELL ALL OF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO TUNE IN !!!

This is the time of year when the word joy is everywhere. Joy to the world.
I have joy in my heart. Joy, joy, joy, joy. Let me just take a minute today
and tell you the reason we can even say the word joy.

God, our Creator, has opened our eyes and showed us His plan. He has showed
us His Son being born of a virgin in a manger. He has showed us the example
of the perfect life as we read about Christ’s life in the Gospels. He has
given us the one and only perfect sacrifice for our sins in Christ’s death
on the cross. He then verified it all in the resurrection of our Lord on
that 3rd day…assuring us of everlasting life when we put our faith and
hope in Jesus. I don’t know about you, but if that isn’t reason for joy, I
don’t know what is.

I know many of you are struggling with your finances….you can still have
joy today because God said you have riches beyond anything this world can
offer! I know many of you are depressed because you are alone…you can
still have joy today because God promised He would never leave you nor
forsake you! I know many of you are having marriage problems…..you can
still have joy today because God can mend your broken heart and restore your
marriage!

I know many of you are fighting addictions to sex, drugs, alcohol, food, or
tobacco….you can still have joy today because God can deliver you and set
you free! I know many of you are facing battles at work or school….you can
still have joy today because God said He would fight for you! I know many of
you are dealing with health issues….you can still have joy today because
God is still in the healing business!

It doesn’t matter what the battle is, what the problem is, you can still
have joy today because Jesus Christ was born, lived, died, and rose on the
3rd day giving you the assurance that if you have put your faith and trust
in Jesus, when this short time here on earth is over you will spend eternity
with Him! THAT IS WHERE OUR JOY COMES FROM!

Don’t let the cares of the world steal your joy on this Christmas Eve. God
is still on the throne and still hearing and answering the prayers of His
children. He is still working miracles in the lives of people today!

I love you, care about you deeply, and want you to know the joy this
Christmas that those shepherds knew on that first Christmas because of all
that God had shown them. Because of His birth, because of His life, because
of His death, and because of His resurrection, we can have true JOY in our
lives today if we will invite Christ into our hearts and lives.

If you want to know that Joy today, the true joy that only comes from a
relationship with Jesus, pray and ask God to open your heart, then read the
words at: www.liveprayer.com/bdy_salvatn.html . Give your heart and life to
Christ today and not only receive everlasting life, but JOY!!!

Bill Keller

Thanking God Thursday, Dec 20 2007

***CHRISTMAS PASSAGE: So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the
baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the
word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard
it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all
these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned,
glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen,
which were just as they had been told. (Luke 2:16-20)

***SINGLE MOMS!!!  I NEED YOUR HELP!   Thank You!!!  So far, we have had
commitments for $18,000 of the $20,000 we need to help these moms and their
children this Christmas.  As you know, we are helping 100 single mothers and
their children this Christmas with a gift of $200 who otherwise won’t have
presents or Christmas dinner.  Let me challenge those reading this today who
want to be a blessing to a single mother and her children this Christmas.
Pray today about making a special gift to Liveprayer of $200 to cover the
gift we will send to one of the 100 single mothers we are going to help.
Obviously, if you want to send more that is great, or if you can’t give
$200, whatever amount God is calling you to sacrifice is wonderful.  Time is
short, so please help me today so these moms and their children can have a
great Christmas.    Remember, it is not the amount you give God is
interested in, it is your heart.  Thank you for helping Liveprayer be a
blessing to 100 single moms and their children this Christmas!  (*If you

***18 DAYS UNTIL THE DEBUT OF THE NEW LIVEPRAYER TV PROGRAM AND NETWORK ON
THE INTERNET!!!   Don’t miss the launch of the new Liveprayer TV program on
the Internet, “LIVE” Monday, January 7th from 10 p.m. to Midnight ET, which
will also be the launch of the 24/7 Liveprayer TV Network on the Internet!
PLEASE TELL ALL OF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO TUNE IN !!!

You cannot turn on the news or pick up the newspaper without being bombarded
by all of the problems and evil that exists in our world. Each day you are
confronted by family members, friends, those you work with or go to school
with, that are hurting and going thru a difficult time in their life. 99% or
better of the over 40,000 prayer requests that come into Liveprayer every
single day are people who are in pain, fighting the battles everyone fights
during the course of their life. The fact is, we are all dealing with
problems every day, that is simply part of life.

The worst thing that can happen is when we allow our problems to overwhelm
us to the point we forget to be thankful to God. Never forget, no matter
what your problems may be today, without God you would have no hope. He is
your source of strength when you feel like you can’t go on. He is your
source of encouragement when you don’t see any answers. He is your source of
hope that tomorrow will be better than today. It is God who loves you when
nobody else does, and it is God who will never leave you when everyone else
has. In the midst of whatever your battles may be today, don’t forget to
simply say, “Thank you God!”

I know this message today may seem very elementary, but it is amazing how
when we are under the pressures of daily life, we can often forget the most
basic truths. No matter what may be going on in our lives, God deserves our
thanks because of who He is. He is God! He is the Creator of the heavens and
earth. He is OUR CREATOR! He loves us unconditionally and cares about us so
much. He has given us so many wonderful and special promises in His Word
that we can count on. So never let the cares of this brief life keep you
from taking the time each day to thank Him.

I realize today as you read this, you may be facing a serious health issue,
or your marriage may be in trouble, or you are dealing with a huge financial
problem, or you need a job, or someone you love has recently died, or you
are battling with some sort of addiction, or a myriad of other problems. It
doesn’t matter what your problems may be. Take a few minutes right now,
forget about your problems, and simply focus on God. Now, say THANK YOU GOD!
Say it again. Again. Again. Tell God you love Him. Tell God you worship and
adore Him. Forget about everything else for a few moments and simply
concentrate on God and thank Him!!!

Listen, thanking God is not going to make all of your problems go away. What
it will do is bring joy to your heart, peace into your life, and give you a
renewed sense of hope as you face the day to day trials life may bring your
way. Facing your problems, dealing with your problems become 100 times
easier. You get blessed when you thank God! By getting so wrapped up in your
problems and not taking the time to thank God you are missing blessings.

I love you and care about you so much. I am guilty so often of not taking
the time I should each day to simply stop what I am doing and just spend
some time thanking God. It is so easy to focus on what is wrong with our
life, that we often forget how much is right with our life. We get so bound
by our problems that we forget the simple act of saying thank you to God.
Without Him, there would be no answers, no solutions to our problems and
this life would have no purpose and be meaningless and hopeless.

I will be praying for you today. Do me a favor. No, do yourself a favor.
Stop whatever you are doing right now. Take the next 3 minutes. That is 180
seconds. Use those 3 minutes to do nothing else but say thank you to God.
Thank Him for His love. Thank Him for all the wonderful blessings He bestows
on you each day. Thank Him for caring about you. Thank Him for all that He
does for you each day. I can assure you that you have MUCH TO BE THANKFUL
FOR! Take the next 3 minutes and spend it thanking God.

The Bible only gives us a brief glimpse of what our eternal existence will
be like. One thing we know is that we will be worshipping God our Creator.
Now is a good time to start doing that . Each day, we must take time out of
our busy lives and simply spend it thanking God. We will always have
problems in this life. That is simply a fact of living in this dark and evil
world where so many people live their lives in rebellion to God. But the
Bible tells us that when this brief journey is over, “There will be no more
death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed
away.” Make sure that no matter what your problems may be, that you never
forget to take the time each day to say thank you to God!

One Hundreth Month Tuesday, Dec 18 2007

Monday, December 17, 2007

My Friend,

“Bill, I was just writing to let you know that me and my 15 year old son
just got saved by watching your internet broadcasting. We feel really great
inside. and we know now that Jesus in the only way we can get through to God
and His Kingdom.  Thanks so much and we ask that you pray for our family to
keep the faith.”

“Pastor Bill, you may or may not remember me, given the thousands of emails
you receive daily, but on one faithful night in June 2004, after watching
your show,  I sent an email listing every sin for as far back as I could
remember and asked for your guidance.  You responded in less than 12 hours
with the prayer of salvation and the rest is history.  I’ve experienced many
God given miracles since that day and walk with the Lord daily.  Addiction
and bondage to worldly habits that were once leading me on a path of
destruction have been totally eradicated  from my life.  Thank you for all
that you’ve done and continue to do for God’s lost and hurting.  May God
bless and keep you safe as you embark on your new journey on the internet.
I look forward to it.”

IMPACTING LIVES FOR CHRIST IS WHAT LIVEPRAYER IS ALL ABOUT AND WHY I ASK YOU
TO HELP ME!

In just 2 weeks we wrap up our 100th month of Liveprayer as well as the year
2007.  I have been spending lots of time in prayer these past few months,
even more time the past several weeks, in preparation for what I truly
believe is going to be the most critical year our nation and this world has
ever experienced.  In looking back on 2007, it has been our most productive
year of ministry in terms of the number of people we reached, ministered to,
and helped lead to faith in Jesus Christ.  It was also a year God raised up
the presence and visibility of Liveprayer while allowing some great changes
to take place, primarily moving the TV program from secular television to
the broadcast platform of the future, the Internet, in preparation for 2008.

I am excited about what this new year is going to bring and really excited
about the role God is calling Liveprayer to play as we take His Truth and
the hope and love of Christ to this dark world and to the lost and hurting
masses.  All that we have accomplished for the Lord these past 100 months
has been partly in preparation for God to use this ministry in a major way
this coming year.  2007 was a year of positioning, and 2008 is going to be a
year of great opportunity for Liveprayer to not only lead an incredible
number of lost souls to faith in Jesus Christ, but an instrument God is
going to use to help bring this nation back to God and Biblical values.

As we are just a week away from the celebration of Christ’s birth, two weeks
away from ringing in the new year, let me ask you today to take a few
moments and pray about helping me insure all of our financial commitments
are met.  God has really blessed us this month as so many have been
faithful, many making special year-end gifts to Liveprayer ( some to help
them with their 2007 taxes).  With just 2 weeks left in the month we only
need $20,000 to meet the balance of our December budget.  With so many
people taking off for the holidays it is really critical that we take care
of this balance in the next week.

In addition to our December budget, we also need to immediately bring in the
last $13,000 to cover the gifts we are making to help out 100 single moms
and their children this Christmas who won’t have presents or Christmas
dinner without our help.  Also, we are asking 12 people to make a one-time
gift of $5,000 to help me cover our  $60,000 budget for the Florida State
Fair this February.  Liveprayer is one of the title sponsors of the fair and
will have a huge presence with a 5,000 sf “Liveprayer Gospel Tent” featuring
live music 3 times a day as well as special ministry all 12 days of the fair
where over 500,000 people are expected to attend.

So I am coming to you to ask you to pray about what sacrifice you can make
today to help me.  Everyone can pray, and most can sacrifice something.
Remember, the Bible teaches us to give according to our ability to give.
For some that may be a gift of $5 or $10.  For others it may be $20, $50, or
$100.  For still others, it may be a gift of $250, $500, $1,000, or more.
It is not the amount God is interested in, it is your faithfulness and
obedience.  God honors our faithfulness and blesses our obedience!

Less than 1/4 of 1% of the people we reach each day ever send a gift to
support God’s work here.  All we do is free, but it does take money to be
able to provide the life changing ministry we provide each day to well over
2 million souls around the world every single day.  If you are one of those
who has never given to Liveprayer but have been blessed by what we do, now
would be a great time to pray about helping me so we can keep reaching
others who need encouragement and hope as they face the challenges of life.

Please take a moment right now and pray and seek the Lord about what He is
calling you to do to help me today.  What you sacrifice to Liveprayer is not
going to build buildings or support huge staffs of people or pay for private
jets,  new luxury cars, or a lavish lifestyle.  What you give to Liveprayer
is going directly to impact the lives of people like those who sent in the
praise reports I shared with you at the top of this message.  After nearly 2
decades of ministry, you can be assured that I won’t sell out the Gospel or
compromise God’s Word for earthly power or riches.  My goals are not the
goals of this world but to see the souls of men saved for all ETERNITY by
faith in Jesus Christ.

YOUR GIFT IS HELPING ME BRING GOD’S TRUTH TO THIS DARK WORLD AND LEAD SOULS
FROM THE FIERY FLAMES OF HELL TO THE GOLDEN STREETS OF HEAVEN!  SO PLEASE,
TAKE A MOMENT TODAY AND SEND THE MOST GENEROUS GIFT YOU CAN TO HELP ME!!!

TO GIVE A GIFT TO LIVEPRAYER, you can use your major credit card on our
secure server at: www.liveprayer.com under the “Donation” link, you can give
using your PayPal account using my email address: bkeller@liveprayer.com ,or
you can mail your gift to: Liveprayer, 6660 46th Ave. North, St. Petersburg,
Fl 33709. All gifts to Liveprayer are 100% tax deductible.

Thank you for your love, prayers, and financial sacrifices this past year.
YOU are the reason Liveprayer was here to impact literally tens of millions
of lives this year and see tens of thousands of people make a commitment to
accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.  I see a very
volatile year in 2008 for this nation and the world.  Terrorism will be a
part of life around the globe in 2008. The United States will elect a new
President in November who most likely it will be someone who is going to
lead this nation further away from God and His Truth.  As people worldwide
deal with the consequences of the gross sin and evil that exists in this
word, they will be looking for answers and hope.

In the midst of all the upheaval I see in this coming year, I also see a
nation that is going to be ripe to turn back to God and to the Truth of His
Word.  I see an INCREDIBLE HARVEST OF SOULS in 2008.  In my heart I know God
is going to use Liveprayer to play a huge role in not only leading lost
souls to Christ but this nation back to the God of the Bible.  It is friends
like you who pray for me and stand with me by sacrificing some of your
treasure that makes it possible for me to be here.  Thank You!

May you and your family have a most blessed Christmas and a new year full of
joy, peace, health, and prosperity as you serve and follow the Lord.  You
are in my prayers each day!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of
David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a
sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

***NEWS NOTE:  Need more evidence that Islam is a “religion of peace?”  How
about the news this weekend of a 16-year-old Muslim girl in Canada who was
killed by her father for refusing to wear her headdress to school.  This
father is being hailed as a hero in the Muslim world for defending the honor
of Islam.  Or how about the Saudi woman who was just pardoned after being
brutally gang raped and then arrested and sentenced to 6 months in jail and
200 lashes for being alone with a man in a cab.  That is right, the RAPE
VICTIM was the one they were punishing and in what the Saudi government felt
was a magnanimous  and humanitarian gesture, pardoned!  Most false religions
like Islam and cults like Mormonism treat women as nothing more than sex
objects and property.  If you missed my video message to Muslim women
worldwide, you can watch it at:

Broken relationships.  One of the common prayer requests I see daily,
especially at this time of year, are requests for God to reconcile family
members whose relationships have been broken for a myriad of reasons. One of
the tests of our spiritual maturity is the ability to forgive, pray for, and
love someone who has wronged us. It is especially difficult when that
someone is part of our family. I am going to challenge you today to exhibit
Christ-like love this Christmas as you share this blessed time of year with
your family members.

Regardless of who is at fault, who is wrong, the circumstances involved, my
challenge to you this Christmas is to make an attempt to reconcile with
someone in your family that you may not currently have a relationship with.
I realize in many cases this is going to be a very difficult task, but it is
what God wants you to do, and He will give you the strength and courage to
make the effort.

Let me say up front, you are not responsible for the actions of anyone else,
only your own. You cannot force a relationship with someone who refuses to
accept you. But you can, and God requires you, to make the effort. At that
point, it is in His hands. He is the one who has to move on the other
person’s heart. Much like in witnessing, you can never force someone to get
saved. But God requires you to give them the opportunity, and after that, it
is up to the power of the Holy Spirit to move on that person’s heart.

It is important to note here that God does NOT expect you to be abused or
mistreated in any way.  I am aware that the person you are estranged from
may have hurt you deeply in the past.  God is still calling for you to
forgive that person, but unless they are repentant, sadly, you may simply
not be able to have any personal contact with that person until they are.
Again, God can give you the strength to forgive them, He calls you to pray
for them, but He is NOT asking you to have any contact with them if they are
simply going to abuse you in some way.

I am not going to elaborate very much today, because the challenge God has
for you is very simple, very straightforward. God is asking you to make the
effort to reconcile with someone that you are not on good terms with during
this Christmas season. Forget the reasons that you are fighting, forget what
has happened in the past, make the effort in Christ-like love. At that
point, you have done what God has asked you to do, and it is then up to the
other person to respond.

I know this is not easy and in many cases will be very painful. I will be
praying for you. I will be praying for His strength, words, and love to be
with you in a way like you never have known before. God is love. It is His
desire to see His children love one another. What better Christmas present
for God than to obey His voice and make the effort to reconcile your
relationship with that family member you are separated from!

I love you and care about you so much. I will be praying today specifically
for you to heed this challenge and to be obedient to God’s voice. I want to
see you be all God has raised you up to be. One way you can do that, is by
doing those things in life, even the painful things, that you know God
expects you to do.  You will be surprised how much can be accomplished just
by making the effort.

The problems won’t immediately disappear, they won’t wipe away years of
pain, but God is able to heal and restore relationships. God is a God of
reconciliation and restoration! That is His desire for you this Christmas!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

one of the 100 single mothers we are going to help.  Obviously, if you want to

calling you to sacrifice is wonderful.  Time is short, so please help me today

helping Liveprayer be a blessing to 100 single moms and their children this
Christmas!  (*If you missed the Thursday Devotional to single moms, here is the

***23 DAYS UNTIL THE DEBUT OF THE NEW LIVEPRAYER TV PROGRAM AND NETWORK ON
THE INTERNET!!!

One of the big “controversies last Christmas was over certain department
stores and retailers who ordered their employees to NOT say “Merry
Christmas.” Well, that issue is still with us this Christmas. Today, I want
to give you a different side of this story that nobody else is talking
about.

Please forgive me if I don’t share the outrage of many Christians that some
department stores and other retailers have quit saying “Merry Christmas.” To
be frank with you, I don’t know why we expect a secular business to promote
Christ when they have turned the celebration of his birth into a celebration
of mammon! They don’t exist to please the heart of God but the insatiable
appetite of man. They aren’t in business to bless people, only take their
money. So their decision to not say “Merry Christmas” is much ado about
nothing.

The fact is, WE are the ones who are supposed to say “Merry Christmas” to
them!!! Why do we expect the world to do what WE are supposed to be doing?
If you know Jesus as your Savior, it is YOU who is supposed to say “Merry
Christmas” to those you meet along your journey through life each day. The
Bible says that WE are His ambassadors, WE are His witnesses, WE are to be
salt and light, not some secular department store! This is one of the best
times of the year to be a Christian and remind people that Christmas is NOT
about merchandise, but the birth of Jesus. WE are the ones to remind the
world that Christmas is not about the presents we give to each other, but
the present God gave to this world in the form of His Son Jesus Christ!

This is also the time of year when so many people get outraged because their
town hall won’t put up a manger scene. I wonder how many of those who are
outraged have manger scenes in THEIR yards? Why do you expect the city hall
to put up a display like that when you won’t even do it in your own yard
where it is 100% legal? We expect the government to publicly symbolize the
birth of Jesus but we aren’t willing to do it ourselves! Again, God called
US, not the government to be His witness to this lost world!

Listen my friend, I would LOVE to see manger scenes in the town square, love
to see “Christmas” not Holiday parades, love to hear Christmas carols in
public, not songs about reindeers, snowmen and Santa Claus, and I would love
to hear “Merry Christmas” at the store instead of “Happy Holidays,” but what
do you expect from a world that has rejected God’s Son and the Truth of His
Word? I’ve been trying to tell you for over 8+ years now that this is no
longer a Christian nation, that we live in a world that operates in
rebellion to God, so how come we expect the world to promote the birth of
Jesus?

PROMOTING THE BIRTH OF JESUS IS OUR JOB!

God has called us to share our faith in Christ and the hope we have in Him
with this lost and dying world. As this Christmas season is upon us, NOW is
the time for each one of us who knows Christ as our Savior to be faithful in
sharing Him with a world that needs His love so desperately. Even though the
world has perverted this wonderful time of the year by cashing in on the
birth of Jesus, now even trying to act like that is not what this time of
the year is about, it is our opportunity to make sure everyone we meet knows
that this blessed time is about one thing and one thing only…the birth of
Jesus!

My challenge to you is to not get caught up in these mindless debates about
department stores not saying “Merry Christmas,” but for YOU to say “Merry
Christmas” to those you encounter during your day. Let those God has called
to the legal arena fight for the public displays and symbols of our faith,
while those of us who know Christ exercise OUR FREEDOM to publicly display
the symbols of our faith. Rather than being upset that the great Christmas
carols are not being sung, get a group from your church and spend a night
caroling throughout your neighborhood.

I love you and care about you so much. I know it is frustrating to see the
world we live in reject Christ. If it hurts us, imagine how it hurts God who
so loves this world! We often get so caught up in the world’s rejection of
God and His Truth that we forget that WE are the ones God has called to
bring His hope and Truth to the lost and hurting. We expect the world to do
what we have been called to do! It is our job as followers of Christ to
declare His love and mercy and grace, not the job of a fallen world that
rejects the Lord. Rather than lamenting how the world is trying to eliminate
God, we have got to get busy doing our job which is to declare God’s
existence and presence. We can’t blame a world that has rejected God for not
doing the job WE have been called by God to do!

I pray today that each of us who knows Jesus will exercise OUR freedoms this
Christmas season and make sure every person we come in contact with knows
that the joy we have in our heart comes from this precious time of year when
we celebrate the birth of our Savior. It is a great opportunity for each of
us to share our faith in Christ, to help someone we know find the true
meaning of Christmas. The fact the departments stores, the town halls, and
other public entities are not promoting Christ’s birth is a wake-up call to
the churches and each Believer that WE are the ones God has entrusted with
this mission. That first Christmas, God didn’t entrust that great message
with the men of the world, but men of God who were tending their flocks.

May each of us be faithful this Christmas season in being like the shepherds
and sharing with the world that 2000 years ago in a manger in Bethlehem, a
baby was born. This was not just any baby, but the Savior of the world.
God’s gift to a fallen world that through this baby they would find the
forgiveness of their sins and everlasting life. This baby’s name was JESUS,
the only name by which man are saved. Let each of us who have accepted Him
into our hearts and lives by faith declare HIS birth and hope to this lost
world this Christmas.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

the Internet, “LIVE” Monday, January 7th from 10 p.m. to Midnight ET, which

PLEASE TELL ALL OF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO TUNE IN !!!

As a child of God, we have all been commanded, not asked, to serve Him. It
is part of the responsibility of being in the family of God to serve. One of
the issues that I get hundreds of emails about each day is people who are
serving the Lord and because things didn’t work out exactly as they planned,
feel like they have failed. There is a word I want to impart into your life
today that I don’t want you to EVER forget. THERE IS NO FAILURE WITH GOD!

***THE ONLY WAY TO FAIL GOD IS TO NOT SERVE HIM!!!

Let me share something with you. When you are serving the Lord, NOTHING ever
always works out the way YOU planned, but it ALWAYS works out the way God
planned! Please, let me repeat that one more time to insure you get this.
When you are serving the Lord, NOTHING ever always works out the way YOU
planned, but it ALWAYS works out the way God planned. You see, when you are
truly serving God, it is God, not you, who is in control. You are the clay,
not the potter! Does the clay tell the potter what to do?

The key to serving the Lord is two things, our obedience and our
faithfulness. Those are the two things that we have 100% control over. We
can obey and we can be faithful. When God has an obedient and faithful
servant, He has a servant He can truly use and work through. Again, that is
what we are, God’s servants. When it is us, when we are doing it, it is
simply a work of flesh and blood and the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit is
missing. When it is God and we are yielded to Him, the supernatural power of
His Spirit can move and incredible things happen.

The problem we have in serving the Lord is getting caught up in how the
world defines success. The world says a church of 5,000 is a huge success
and a church of 50 is a failure. The world says the pastor of the church of
5,000 is doing great things and the man who pastors the church of 50
obviously doesn’t know what he is doing. However, God says that if the
church of 5,000 is simply a Christian country club where people are coming
to be entertained for an hour a week, having their ears tickled, never
hearing the power of the Gospel but simply being coddled, yet in the church
of 50 the people are being fed the Truth of the Word, equipped to serve,
challenged to holy living, using their lives to serve God, it is the church
of 5,000 that is not measuring up to God’s standards and the church of 50 is
the one He is proud of.

The world says that if you have huge palatial buildings, brand new private
jets, live like the ruler of a small nation, and are famous the world over,
you are a great success. Likewise, the world says that if you have no
building, drive an older model car with 120,000 miles on it, live modestly,
and nobody knows your name, you are a failure. However, God says that if the
person experiencing great financial success is simply using the Gospel as a
business and is being served, and the person with very little materially is
using the Gospel to minister to the lost and is serving others, the one
being served is getting his rewards now and the one serving others will
enjoy the crowns and rewards in Glory for all eternity.

That is what this really boils down to my friend, service. We are called to
serve the Lord and when we answer that call there is no such thing as
failure despite what the world says. Part of being a servant is having the
faith in the One you serve to go where He says go and do what He says do,
and not worry about the outcome. Of course, when you walk by faith you have
to take the first step. That is why you spend time in prayer, get wise
counsel before you start. But once you start taking that walk of faith, God
will open and close doors along the way to guide you so that you are exactly
where He wants you to be and doing exactly what He wants you to be doing.

For those who serve the Lord, that is why it is so critical that you stay in
that close, intimate relationship with the Lord each and every day. That is
why it is critical that you be yielded at all times to the Holy Sprit so
that it is His will and not your will you are seeking. Trust me, God will
guide you each step of the way. When you get a bit off course, He will guide
you back. When it is time to be doing other things, God will close doors and
open new ones. Life is made up of seasons. Some seasons are longer than
others. We are always serving God until the moment we take our last breath,
but we usually will serve Him in many different ways along our journey
through life.

Let me use my life as an example. I started out in a typical evangelistic
ministry going around the nation preaching in over 500 churches for the
first 3 years of my ministry. God then had me for a season of 4 years
heavily involved in the Christian television world. God then led me over 8
years ago to reach the world using the Internet. Over four years ago, God
called me to serve Him on secular television to work in conjunction with our
Internet ministry. In these past 17 years I have been in full-time service
to the Lord, even though I have always been serving Him, I have been doing
it in many different ways.

Let me give you some counsel today on being a true servant of the most high
God. First, remember it is ALWAYS Him and never you. Second, always be
obedient and faithful. Third, give your very best to the Lord every second
of every day. Fourth, follow the motto of the great revival preacher from
the 1800s Charles Finney who said, “I do all I can like it all depends on
me, then I pray like it all depends on God!” Fifth, you are to be a servant
to others, not served by others. Sixth, never forget that there is never any
failure with God. Seventh and last, let your only goal in serving the Lord
be to hear those words when you stand before God, “Well done thou good and
faithful SERVANT!!!”

I love you and care about you so much. There is nothing more important for
the child of God than serving our Lord. After all, when we accepted Christ
as our Savior, we gave our very lives to Him to use as He sees fit. The
Bible says that we are “bought with a price,” that it is no longer our life
but we belong to Him. Serving the Lord is not an option it is a commandment,
one that every follower of Christ is expected to follow.

In the process of serving the Lord, we will always have times and
experiences when we feel in our flesh that we have failed, that we have let
the Lord down. That is a lie from the pits of hell! THERE IS NO FAILURE WITH
GOD! You can’t fail when you are serving the Lord. The only way you can fail
is to NOT serve Him! God uses our obedience and faithfulness in ways we will
never see or understand until we get to Glory. The reality is, when we are
yielded to the Lord, God uses our lives to do incredible things that we
never even realize.

As a matter of fact, I submit that the greatest things you will ever do for
God you don’t even know you did them until you get to Heaven. Those are the
things you do each day simply by being obedient and faithful . God will give
us a little feedback along the way since He knows our flesh is weak and
needs encouragement. However, the vast majority of what God does in and
through our lives we will never fully comprehend in this life. Don’t forget,
our job isn’t to know everything that is going on, it is simply to be
obedient and faithful. God can use a willing and yielded vessel!

I will be praying for you today. Praying that you will be encouraged by this
powerful word today. Encouraged to get serious about fulfilling your
responsibility as a child of God to serve Him. We are ALL called to serve. I
pray that you will let God guide you in the paths of service He has called
you to and that you will never forget, THERE IS NO FAILURE WITH GOD!!!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

THE INTERNET!!!   Don’t miss the launch of the new Liveprayer TV program on
the Internet, “LIVE” Monday, January 7th from 10 p.m. to Midnight ET, which
will also be the launch of the 24/7 Liveprayer TV Network on the Internet!
PLEASE TELL ALL OF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO TUNE IN !!!

I am saddened every morning as I open the business page to read about another
company laying off thousands of people. While it is only a number in a story to
most, the fact is each number is a very real life, with a very real family, that
will probably be facing very real financial issues because of losing their job.
While there is never a good time to lose your job, it is especially difficult at
this time of year.

We are expected to buy gifts for our family and close friends. We are expected
to decorate our homes. We are expected to attend various parties and events. All
of these require EXTRA MONEY, over and above our normal monthly living expenses.
This time of year that is supposed to be personified in the word JOY, quickly
becomes a nightmare for many who simply don’t have the money to do all they feel
they are expected to do.

First, let me reiterate the point I made last week. Christmas is NOT about
gifts. Christmas is NOT about decorating your house. Christmas is NOT about
parties. Christmas is the day each year that we set aside to celebrate the birth
of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is HIS birthday. THAT is what Christmas
is all about, celebrating the birth of our Lord.

Of course, it is impossible to deny the gross commercialism that marks this time
of the year. But we have choices. We CHOOSE to get caught up in how the world
celebrates Christmas. I have yet to read a news account of someone that was
forced at gunpoint to go to the local shopping mall and spend thousands of
dollars on presents. I realize that if you have children, being able to provide
them presents on Christmas morning is important.

However, what is MORE important is making them aware of what Christmas is really
about. The greatest gift that you can give your children this Christmas is NOT
some toy that they will forget about in a month. The greatest gift that you can
give your children this Christmas is the knowledge of what this blessed day is
really about…the birth of Jesus!

Some practical ways that you can do this is by attending some of the fabulous
Christmas pageants many churches now put on. In many cities, some of the larger
churches put on incredible, professionally produced Christmas programs that do a
marvelous job of telling the story of Christ’s birth. Taking your children to
see these great productions will be fun and help them understand the true
meaning of Christmas. Another great thing to do with your children is to teach
them that Christmas is NOT about getting presents, but about giving to others.
Getting them involved in helping to prepare a bag of groceries that you give to
a ministry feeding the homeless is a very easy way to help them learn the
blessing of giving.

Within your own home, sitting down with the entire family and reading the
Christmas story in Luke chapter 2, spending time as a family in prayer thanking
God for the wonderful gift that He gave this world that first Christmas, going
as a family to church and celebrating His birth together all help your children
learn that Christmas is the time we set aside each year to celebrate the
birthday of Jesus. YOUR CHILDREN WILL CARRY THESE MEMORIES, AND THE REAL REASON
OF CHRISTMAS WITH THEM FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFE!

I love you and care about you so much. My heart breaks as I read about those who
have lost their jobs this past year, knowing the financial hardship that will be
on them and their family. Each day at Liveprayer, we respond to thousands of
people who are in this situation. It becomes magnified at this time of the year,
because of the pressure the world has put on us to “participate” in how it
celebrates Christmas.

My word for you today is that you don’t have to fall into the trap of buying
lots of gifts, or decorating your home, or going to all the parties. Those
things are NOT what Christmas is about. The true peace of this season, the true
joy of this season, comes from celebrating the birth of Jesus. HE is the reason
for the season. The greatest gift that you can give someone this Christmas is to
share with them the REAL meaning of Christmas. The greatest gift you can receive
this Christmas was given over 2000 years ago when God gave you His son Jesus!!!

***A great way to share the gift of Christ this Christmas is by making a gift to
Liveprayer.  Each day, we are here to bring God’s Truth to this dark world and
His hope to millions worldwide.  Over 40,000 people a day contact us for prayer
and counsel, and it is your sacrifice that makes it all possible.  As we are
winding down the last couple weeks of our 100th month online and ending this
great year, please pray today about making a special Christmas gift to
Liveprayer.  Because of the generosity of so many, we need less than $30,000 to
cover the rest of our December obligations.  So please, take a moment today,
pray and seek the Lord and give the best gift you possibly can.

TO GIVE A GIFT TO LIVEPRAYER, you can use your major credit card on our secure

greatest gift of all to someone this Christmas season, the hope and love of our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

“They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,
greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’”
Matthew 23:6-7

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the
other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot
serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the
world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the
world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is
not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and
the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” 1 John
2:15-17

Loving the things of this world more than the things of God.  In the
aftermath of Mitt Romney’s big speech this past Thursday that was billed as
a defense of his Mormon beliefs, I was shocked and deeply saddened as I
watched one Christian leader after another being interviewed.  As a follower
of Jesus Christ, the Jesus Christ of the Bible, I thought that the most
important thing was to share the message of Christ’s love with the lost and
help to bring them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, knowing that
those who rejected Him would die and their souls would be damned for all
eternity to hell.   For a Believer, especially those who have taken on the
enormous responsibility of being in a leadership position, how can anything
be more important than the eternal souls of men?

I was very grateful that the Holy Spirit led me to deal with Romney’s speech
BEFORE he even gave it, so the Liveprayer family was prepared for his lies
and deception.  I have never been one to say “I told you so,” but in this
case, what I shared with you in the Thursday Devotional about what he would
say and do was virtually 100% on the money.  As I told you, this would be
very carefully managed, orchestrated, and choreographed and it was.  The
cheering crowd in attendance was there by invitation only.  What sickened me
was that in this staged audience were many men who Christians look to for
leadership.

I have first-hand knowledge that Jay Sekulow flew his private jet (remember
that the next time Jay is asking you to give him $$$) to the event and took
along Mark DeMoss and several other Christians who have sold out Christ to
back the member of a satanic cult for whatever short term temporal benefit
their support may bring them.

The speech itself was exactly what I said it would be, an attempt by Romney
to make people believe he is a Christian without ever going into what his
cult really believes which was the supposed purpose of the speech in the
first place.  As a matter of fact, Mormons should be outraged, since he not
only refused to deal with the beliefs of his cult, but only used the name
Mormon ONE TIME in the entire 20 minute speech.  ONE TIME!

Let me refer to just two parts of his speech to point out what a liar Mitt
Romney is.  The first was when he tried to make the case that he would not
take any orders or direction from those in leadership of his cult.  The fact
is, as a Temple Mormon, Romney took a blood oath to the LDS cult and part of
that blood oath involves his allegiance to the Mormon cult above and beyond
ANYTHING ELSE, including the Constitution of the United States!  He has
vowed to help create an LDS theocracy led my who, A MORMON PRESIDENT!  As a
matter of fact, the Mormons already have a temple in Washington DC that is
furnished and equipped and prepared to be the headquarters of this
theocracy.  Mitt forgot to tell you about all of that in his big speech
about “what he believes.”

The second was his attempt to make people believe he is a Christian by
stating he believes Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the
world.  What he conveniently forgot to tell you is that his cult also
believes that Jesus is the spirit brother of Lucifer and that his cult
denies the deity of Christ.  My friend, the deity of Christ is the single
most critical tenet of the Christians faith, since if Jesus was not God,
than his sacrifice on the cross for the sins of all mankind was in vain and
the whole Christian faith is nothing but a myth.  IF CHRIST IS NOT GOD THAN
WE ARE ALL STILL DEAD IN OUR SINS AND OUR FAITH IS MEANINGLESS!!!

So Romney did exactly what I told you he would do, lie and use deception to
pass himself off as a Christian without ever talking about what his cult
really believes.  Again, my criticism of Romney has never been about his
politics, that has never even been the focus of my comments about him.  My
concern has always been the souls of people who will be influenced to check
out the Mormon cult, fall into their false teachings, and end up in hell for
following the lies of Joey Smith.  That has already been happening just from
his candidacy!

All I have ever asked Romney to do is simply be honest, state that he is a
Mormon and a Mormon is NOT a Christian.  If people want to vote for a man
who wears special underwear 24/7 that he believes has magical powers and
that he will die and become the god of his own planet and have many women
waiting to have sex with him to create an endless supply of spirit babies,
that is fine.  All I have ever asked is that he is simply honest enough to
admit this is what he believes.

What absolutely sickened me was the aftermath of the speech and the comments
by Christian men who have large followings and are looked up to as leaders.
Ralph Reed who the networks failed to mention is actively supporting Romney,
praised and lauded his speech.  James Dobson of Focus on the Family who has
a business relationship with the Mormons called Romney’s speech “Passionate
and his message was inspirational.” Richard Land, president of the Southern
Baptist Convention said, “I thought it was a remarkable speech, it was an
eloquent speech.”

Albert Mohler at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville has not
endorsed Romney, but says he finds him an “attractive candidate.” Mohler
says evangelicals who say they won’t vote for a Mormon may reconsider.
Reverend Rob Schenk, president of the National Ministry Centre in Washington
DC who attended the speech, called it “One of the best political speeches on
this subject that will likely ever be made.  As an evangelical, I think he
went a long way toward relieving some of the anxieties that evangelicals
have.”  Jonathan Falwell who appeared that night on Hannity and Colmes on
FOX News should have been on “Dancing with the Stars.”  Rather than use this
opportunity to share why Mormonism is a cult and their teachings totally
inconsistent with Biblical Christianity, he decided being politically
correct was better than taking a stand for the Truth

WOW!!!!   I have one word, DISGUSTING!  These were the comments I heard all
night long from some of the key Christian men so many people look to for
leadership as they gave credibility to this member of a satanic cult that is
leading the souls of men to hell.  I did so many print and electronic
interviews Thursday my head was spinning by the end of the day.  I was the
ONLY Christian leader the press could find who would go on the record and
call this speech what it was, an articulate pack of lies Romney delivered
out of desperation to deceive people into thinking he is a Christian since
he is seeing much of the Christian support he was counting on going towards
Gov. Mike Huckabee.  ( Below is a link to a NY Times story from yesterday
where I was quoted about the Romney speech:
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/09/weekinreview/09goodstein.html?ref=us  )

What I have challenged the secular press to do is to press these Christians
who are supporting and speaking so eloquently about Romney and ask them two
simple questions.  The first, is a Mormon a Christian.  The second, if you
believe that Mormonism is a cult and according to the Bible, those who
follow their lies will die and go to hell, why would you as a Christian be
supporting a man who will help leads men’s souls to hell?  As a matter of
fact, these are the questions YOU need to ask Sekulow, Reed, DeMoss,
Weyrich, Land, Dobson, and any other “leader” you hear supporting, or just
as bad, not denouncing Romney, especially if you support their work.  These
would also be great questions to ask your pastor!

An interesting bit of inside information for you from my personal
experiences with he media Thursday.  I was contacted in the afternoon by a
producer at FOX News about coming on Britt Hume’s program to be the lone
dissenting voice about Romney’s speech.  I was scheduled to do a CNN segment
at 5:30 for Headline News, so we coordinated everything with the FOX people.
An hour later they called to cancel and the explanation I got from someone
there I have worked with numerous times in he past was that it was an
“editorial decision.”

After watching their coverage all night long, I realized that they did not
have ONE dissenting voice on the Romney speech on any of their programs.
Theological midget Sean Hannity made numerous statements that anyone who
would come against Romney based on his Mormon beliefs was a bigot and a
hateful person and he equated Mormonism with Christianity.  It was clear
that FOX News made a conscious effort Thursday to insure Romney’s speech was
seen as a great success.

My gut and personal feeling is that they have a huge Mormon viewership and
it is not any more complicated than FOX News not wanting to alienate a huge
group of people who are most likely FOX viewers.   After all, FOX News is a
business and is about making money.  Rupert Murdoch who owns News Corp which
owns FOX News, made his billions selling sleaze through his worldwide media
outlets.  I have mentioned often the sleaze factor at FOX News, which is
supposed to be geared to a conservative, family values audience.  Here is a
video clip that a group put together to showcase the premeditated sleaze
factor at FOX, and they acutally used one of my appearances on FOX News in
this clip that has had over 400,000 views:
http://foxattacks.com/blog/18210?play=1

I love you and care about you so much.  This is not about politics but about
souls my friend.  Romney  did exactly what I told you he would do last
Thursday, lie and try to pass himself off as a Christian even though the
beliefs of his cult are totally inconsistent with Biblical Christianity.
Voting for Romney is no different than voting for satan since a Romney
Presidency will end up influencing people worldwide to fall into the false
teachings of his cult, die in their sins, and end up in hell.

FOX News is not a Christian news network, though they actively promote
themselves and market themselves to a Christian audience.  So their
orchestrated slant of Romney’s speech last Thursday is not surprising since
their god is money.  However, what was shocking and disappointing were the
comments by men of God who are supposed to be more concerned about the souls
of men above all else, but who clearly demonstrated by their comments that
they are serving two masters and love the things of this world more than the
things of God!

Quitting Drinking Saturday, Dec 8 2007

***CHRISTMAS PASSAGE: Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from
them the exact time the star had appeared. He sent them to Bethlehem and
said, “Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you find him,
report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.” After they had heard
the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east
went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When
they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the
child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they
opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense
and of myrrh. And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod,
they returned to their country by another route. (Matthew 2:7-12)

Today is a special anniversary for me personally. Five years ago today, I
made the decision to stop drinking alcohol. I am asked daily about how a
Christian should deal with alcohol. There is one school of thought that says
it is OK to have a drink as long as you don’t get drunk since the Bible does
NOT say having a drink is a sin, only being drunk is. The other school of
thought is complete abstinence. Ultimately, this is a personal choice each
person must make for themselves.

For the first 4 years of my ministry, I chose to follow the path of complete
abstinence. During the 10 years I was running from God, I drank, heavy at
some times. I know what it is like to be drunk, drink so much you get sick,
and have a hang over the next day. I have had all of these experiences. When
I went into the ministry I made the decision that drinking was not something
I could do if I was serious about serving the Lord.

However, starting in 1996, I decided having a drink once in a while was not
that big of a deal, so usually 2-3 times a month I would have a snifter of
Cognac after dinner. I never drank in public, only at home. I was never
drunk. It was simply a choice I had made several times a month to have a
drink.

I will never forget December 10, 2002. After dinner as I was relaxing, I
went to get a drink and poured the last snifter out of a bottle of Remy
Martin VSOP. As I sipped the last few drops I remember thinking to myself,
drinking alcohol is something in my life that I would be better off not
doing. I spent a few minutes in prayer and simply told God that I really
didn’t want to drink any more, and actually asked him to take the desire and
taste away. Five years later, I have not had a drop.

I quit drinking, not because I feared going to Hell, or that I was an
embarrassment to God, but because it was simply the best choice for my life.
I chose to quit drinking because I felt it was the best for me. For those of
you who choose to have a drink, I am certainly not going to condemn you. I
will say that as I have matured spiritually, it clearly does seem that
abstinence is the best choice. However, that is something you and the Lord
need to spend some quiet time chatting about.

Jesus drank wine. Fermented grapes, NOT grape juice. In that culture at that
time, there was no Perrier, or even tap water. Wine was used in that day
much like we use water today. Jewish scholars have reported that the day in
day out wine drank in the days of Jesus had a very small alcoholic content.

I am not here to lay a guilt trip on anyone who has a glass of champagne on
New Year’s, or a glass of wine with dinner, or a beer every now and then. I
have never been one to condemn people for the decisions they make, just try
to point them to scripture and let the Holy Spirit deal with them. As I say
so often, you cannot force someone to do something. It takes God moving on a
person’s heart to make someone change.

A scripture in the Bible that supports abstinence from alcohol I often use
is 1 Corinthians 6:19. In context, this verse is dealing with our bodies in
sexual matters, but it is also appropriate for use in the area of drugs,
alcohol, and tobacco. Rather than preach to you on the issue of alcohol, let
me refer you simply to that one verse and ask you if you feel it is right to
pollute the temple of the Holy Spirit with something like alcohol that can
be harmful to you and alters your state of mind.

I am going to let you pray on that question and work it out with the Lord.
For Christians, alcohol also becomes a stumbling block for those in your
life who are not saved. Not only is it harmful to your temple, but it can
also be a bad witness to those people in your life who don’t know the Lord.
Never forget, your strongest testimony is how you live your life before
others.

One of the big problems with alcohol is that it can end up being a bondage
for many. Like any bondage, God is able to deliver you whenever you are
serious about quitting and ready to let Him help you. I will be in prayer
today for you or anyone you know who is in bondage to alcohol. GOD IS STILL
IN THE DELIVERANCE BUSINESS!

I love you, and care about you so much. I will be praying for you today as
you spend time with the Lord and seriously consider your choice in regard to
drinking. With the Holiday season upon us, and the fact most people will be
around alcohol in these coming weeks, this is the perfect time to come to
peace over this issue.  God loves you so much, and only wants the best for
your life. May the Holy Spirit guide you and lead you in your choice
regarding alcohol.

Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

When You Fight Goliath……… Saturday, Dec 8 2007

***CHRISTMAS PASSAGE:  When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared
toJoseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and
escape to Egypt.  Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search
for the child to kill him.” So he got up, took the child and his mother
during the night and left for Egypt, where he stayed until the death of
Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: “Out
of Egypt I called my son.” When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by
the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in
Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance
with the time he had learned from the Magi. Then what was said through the
prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled: “A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and
great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be
comforted, because they are no more.” (Matthew 2:13-18)

THE INTERNET!!!   Don’t miss the launch of the new Liveprayer TV program on
the Internet, “LIVE” Monday, January 7th from 10 p.m. to Midnight ET, which
will also be the launch of the 24/7 Liveprayer TV Network on the Internet!
PLEASE TELL ALL OF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO TUNE IN !!!

As you read these words today, I know that at some point in your life you
will have to battle Goliath. One of the reasons I exhort you each day to
stay close to the Lord through time in prayer and the Word, through being in
church to get that spiritual nourishment, to be in fellowship with other
Believers, to find ways to serve God, is because we all have those sentinel
moments in life when we will have to fight Goliath.

At that moment you will either cower in your tent and refuse to fight like
the armies of Israel and let your fear defeat you, or you will confidently
go onto the battlefield knowing that victory is already yours like David
did.

The word I want you to hear for your life today is that you will one day
have to fight Goliath. It is not a matter of if, only when. Listen to me
very closely now. You don’t defeat Goliath when you actually fight him, you
defeat Goliath before you ever step onto the battlefield. This is very deep
so let me say it again and listen carefully. You don’t defeat Goliath when
you actually fight him, you defeat Goliath before you ever step onto the
battlefield! Let me explain.

When you step onto the battlefield to fight Goliath, you are not going to
have time to learn how to fight, you are not going to have time to come up
with a strategy how to defeat the giant, you are not going to have time to
develop the faith and trust in God to lead you to victory. These are all the
things you better already know and have. If you don’t, it is no wonder why
you would be afraid and are defeated before your battle with Goliath even
begins.

Look at David. When he walked onto the battlefield with Goliath, he KNEW he
would be victorious. How did he know that? He had fought battles in the past
and had been victorious. When he was guarding his father’s sheep, he battled
with a lion and won. When he was guarding his father’s sheep, he battled
with a bear and won. David had been in battle before. He knew how to fight.
More important, he had developed a great faith in God who gave him the
strength to win those battles.

So when David was preparing to fight Goliath, he already knew that the same
God who delivered him from the paw of the bear, the same God who delivered
him from he paw of the lion, was the very same God who would deliver him
from the Philistine giant Goliath!!!

This is why I stress to you so often how critical it is to be in the Word
every day, to be in prayer every day, to fellowship with other Believers, to
be in church and be fed spiritually, to find ways to serve the Lord. All of
these things you do each and every day help build you up spiritually and
strengthen your faith, while you fight the daily battles of life and God
leads you to victory. That way when you have your showdown with a real giant
like Goliath, you can go into that battle with the confidence and knowledge
that the same God who has led you to victory in the past is the very same
God who will lead you to victory today.

I love you and care about you so much. My word for you today is PREPARE!
Prepare now for your battle with Goliath. It is not a matter of if that
battle will happen, it is only a matter of when. The time to win that battle
is now before it ever happens. Faithfully pray each day, faithfully read the
Word each day, faithfully fellowship with other Believers, faithfully go to
church to be fed spiritually, faithfully serve God. It is your faithfulness
NOW that will lead you to victory when you fight Goliath.

I will be praying for you. Praying for you to know VICTORY in your life over
those day-to-day battles we all face. It is watching God lead you to those
daily victories that will give you the confidence and faith to trust Him
when the major battles arise. God is a God of VICTORY. Let me leave you with
this Truth. The same God who led you to victory over your battles 10 years
ago, the same God who led you to victory over your battles 5 years ago, the
same God who led you to victory over your battles last year, the same God
who led you to victory over your battles last month, is the VERY SAME GOD
who will lead you to victory over your battles tomorrow and lead you to
victory when you fight Goliath!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller
