Do you need God’s healing touch on your body today? I know that a good
percentage of people reading these words need God’s healing touch. Many of
you are reading these words today in tremendous pain. Many of you are
reading these words today as you face an upcoming surgery. Many of you are
reading these words today as you deal with a serious disease. Many of you
are reading these words today as you are trying to heal from a sickness or
injury. Every person reading these words today has a family member, friend,
or someone you know who needs God’s healing touch. Let me say this very
clearly, GOD IS STILL IN THE HEALING BUSINESS IN JANUARY OF 2008!

Out of the 40,000+ emails for prayer we receive every day here at
Liveprayer, out of the phone calls I take 5 nights a week from viewers of
the Liveprayer TV program, healing is one of the top 3 requests along with
financial problems and relationship issues. Several hundred thousand of the
over 3 million praise reports we have received since we started Liveprayer
over 8 years ago, are from people God has healed. Rarely a night goes by on
the TV program that a caller doesn’t share a praise report of God’s healing.
Don’t forget, Jesus healed 10 lepers and only one came back to say thank
you, so I have no doubt God has healed 10x more people who we never heard
back from. GOD IS STILL IN THE HEALING BUSINESS IN JANUARY OF 2008!

As you read these words today I want to remind you of a great truth. GOD IS
NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS. What that simply means is what God has done for
someone else, God will do for you. Please, let me say that one more time so
you can let it sink into your Spirit. What God has done for someone else,
God will do for YOU!!!

In the Bible, we read about the woman with the issue of blood. God’s Word
tells us that she spent all of her money on the doctors of her day trying to
get better without any success. Then one day she heard about a man named
Jesus coming to her town who was doing great miracles, including healing
people. With no other hope, she exercised that “measure of faith” each
person has and began to believe Jesus could heal her. We read how when she
got to the place Jesus was ministering, a great crowd, the Bible calls it a
“throng,” was already present. Now it would have been very easy for this
woman to get discouraged after seeing all the people gathered around Jesus
and simply give up and go home. But you see this woman was not going to be
denied the opportunity to see our Lord, the One she was believing could heal
her.

We read how she pressed through the crowd of people. I can picture this
woman elbowing her way past people, pushing them out of her way, wading
through this sea of humanity foot by foot until she was finally close enough
to reach out and touch the hem of the garment Jesus was wearing. The Bible
tells us that the moment she touched the hem of His garment she was
instantly healed. Please understand that there was nothing magical about
what Jesus was wearing that day. His garment had no magical healing powers.
It simply became a point of contact for her faith. She had the faith to
believe as she stretched our her hand and grabbed the hem of His garment
that she would be healed, and she was!!!

Let me share something exciting with you today. There is a powerful truth in
the Book of Hebrews that tells us “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday,
today, and forever.” Listen to me carefully now. The powerful meaning of
that truth for YOUR life today is simply this. The very same Jesus who
healed that woman we read about in the Bible who had the issue of blood, is
the very same Jesus who is here to heal you today. Please, stop for a moment
and meditate on this powerful truth. THE VERY SAME JESUS WE READ ABOUT
HEALING THE WOMAN WITH THE ISSUE OF BLOOD, IS THE VERY SAME JESUS WHO IS
HERE TO HEAL YOU TODAY!!!

I love you and care about you so much. My friend, as I come to you today I
want you to know that not a day goes by I don’t see the healing power of
Jesus Christ at work in people’s lives. Every single day I receive praise
reports from people Christ has healed. If you need God’s healing touch in
your body today, if there is someone that you know that needs to be healed,
I want to encourage you to be like that woman with the issue of blood and
exercise that “measure of faith” today. Just like she reached out to touch
the hem of the garment Jesus was wearing, you can reach out to Him today
through prayer.

Stop what you are doing right now and call on the name of Jesus. Reach out
to him IN FAITH and ask Him to heal you or the one you love. As you do,
remember that the very same Jesus you are crying out to today, is the very
same Jesus who healed the woman with the issue of blood. He is no respecter
of persons and what He did for her, He will do for you. As the healing
virtue of Christ flowed through her body and she was made whole, Jesus
looked at her and said, “Go, your faith has made you whole.”

I want you to know that I will be praying for you today. I will be standing
in agreement with you today as you take that step of faith for God’s healing
touch on your body or the body of the one you love. GOD IS STILL IN THE
HEALING BUSINESS IN JANUARY OF 2008! May you hear Him say to you, “Go, your
faith has made you whole!!!”

Make your life count for God.  I have just gone through the most difficult 5
months in nearly 20 years of ministry.  The last 50 days have literally been
a battle to take me out.  It has been a personal and spiritual battle unlike
any I have ever experienced and is far too raw to share much more other than
that by the grace of God I am still here, still pressing forward towards the
prize. more focused than ever to lead this nation into a real revival.  This
all has to do with what God has called me to do this year.  I shared with
you numerous times last year how the Holy Spirit had showed me that the year
2008 was going to be a year like none other in human history.  Should Jesus
tarry, as this year unfolds, you will see the spiritual freefall of this
nation and world accelerate like never before.  I firmly believe whoever is
elected our next President in the United States will lead this nation even
further away from God and His Truth.

It is against this backdrop that I also believe we will see the beginning of
a great revival in this nation as we slowly turn back to God and Biblical
values.  This revival won’t come through the churches or the major media
ministries, but will occur in the marketplace through people who at this
moment aren’t even saved and are living their lives in rebellion to God and
His Word.  God has shown me that Liveprayer will be the match to light this
revival in our nation as we see our work amongst the lost masses outside the
four walls of the church all these years begin to pay great dividends.
Satan has tried to take me out to keep me from fulfilling God’s calling on
my life to help spark this revival that is going to see millions of souls
won to Christ!

Are you ready to make this year count?   One of the great joys in my life is
to try each day to encourage you in your day-to-day life. NEVER FORGET . . .
THERE ARE NO DO-OVERS IN LIFE. We get one shot at this journey, and that is
it. Even more important, it is a very short journey that can end at any
moment. I want to encourage you today to go for all God gives you to do,
with all that you have. Have the courage to LIVE your life with all that you
have. My word for you today, MAKE YOUR LIFE COUNT FOR GOD!!!

Only God knows how many billions of people have lived throughout human
history. The fact is, we each make this journey called life just once. It is
a very brief journey measured by an average of only 50 some years. Whatever
opportunity we may have to put our stamp on this world we are living in, to
contribute to history, happens in those few years. Should Christ tarry in
His return, the history those in future generations will read about is being
made each and every day right now by those who are alive right now . . .
INCLUDING YOU!

With the understanding that this is a brief journey we are on, we should be
motivated to get the most out of each and every day. Our focus each day
should be on fulfilling our reason for being alive, and that is to serve and
glorify the Lord through our lives. I have written previously that the
greatest legacy we can leave is the lives we have influenced for Christ
throughout our journey. We will live on in those God has brought across our
path during our years here on earth. In serving Him, we should not be afraid
to dream big. You see my friend, we have a big God. He is only limited by
our faith.

The Bible tells us that the people perish “where there is no vision”. What
God needs in these last days, more than ever, is a people sold out to Him,
not afraid to dream big dreams and have total faith in Him. Every day people
die and will be forever separated from God because they do not know Christ
as their Savior. Every day people all over the world are dealing with the
trials and tribulations of everyday life, hurting, without hope because they
do not know Jesus. God has called us to be the light to this dark world. We
must allow Him to use our lives to be that light in the midst of the
darkness so many live in. That is what He asks me to do each day, and what
He asks you to do each day. As we are faithful over a little, “He makes us
ruler over much”. He will use our lives to whatever degree we allow Him to
use us.

Our motivation is critical. The Bible teaches in many places that we are to
set our desires on the things of heaven, not on earth. You can spend your
entire life trying to be the best athlete, the best businessman. the most
successful actress, the recording artist who sells the most records, the top
military man in your country, a scientist who makes many wonderful
discoveries, or the best at whatever profession you want to name, and you
may succeed. But unless you were doing it for the Lord, allowing the Lord to
use your success to bring His message of hope and love through Christ to
many people, the best you can hope for is a paragraph in the history books
that one day will no longer cease to exist. That means your lifetime
accomplishments are temporal at best. That is why when our motivation is
Heaven-bound, the accomplishments have an eternal significance in the
changed hearts and lives of people.

I love you and care about you so much. I realize many of you are being
buried with the cares of this world. I work hard daily to encourage you,
pray for you, try to help you overcome these distractions, since they keep
you from fully focusing on all God has planned for your life. It is a tactic
of the enemy to keep us so distracted that we aren’t able to be all God
intends for us to be. I am praying for you today to see victory over these
issues, and while you are in the midst of those battles, know that God has
more for you to do. The fact is, there will always be battles in our life,
always be distractions. We must deal with those battles, but never lose
sight of the fact God has a plan and purpose for our life.

Many say I’ll serve God when my life is straight. Guess what, your life is
never going to be 100% straight, and you are giving the enemy a victory he
doesn’t deserve when you do that. Every great man and woman of God fought
battles in their personal life. That is part of the human condition. The
difference was that they didn’t let those battles stop them from being all
God wanted them to be and serving Him with their life.

It is no accident that you are reading this message today. It is no accident
that we are living at this very moment in human history. We can either just
live out our time or we can use this precious gift God has given us to serve
Him and glorify Him. I want to personally challenge you today to take 15
minutes during the next 24 hours. Get alone with God. Just you and God. Pray
this prayer, “Dear God, here I am. You know all about me. You know my
weaknesses and my strengths. You know the battles I am facing in my life
right now. But I believe that you have a perfect plan for my life. I want to
surrender myself to you this very moment so that your plan for my life might
be fulfilled. It is NOT my life, it belongs to you. Show me what you want me
to do, and I will do it. Today is the day. Now is the time. Guide me and
direct me to do Your will. In Jesus’ name, AMEN”.

Now spend some time and meditate on God, and I promise you the Holy Spirit
will begin to speak to you. God will open doors in your life, and He will
reveal to you through the Word, through prayer, through other people, and
through circumstances what it is He is asking you to do. He will start
small, and as you are faithful in a little, he will give you more.  TODAY IS
THE DAY, AND NOW IS THE TIME!!!   It is our turn to make history, ETERNAL
HISTORY in the lives and souls of the lost and hurting around the world!!!

You can have it all by the standards of this world, but without Jesus, you
have NOTHING!  The world is mourning today the loss of a great actor, Heath
Ledger.  At just 28 years old and with an already impressive list of acting
credits on his resume including an Oscar nomination, Ledger was a major star
in the movie industry.  Like many of the stars in the entertainment
industry, he was also very troubled.  His battle with heroin led to the
break-up last September with actress-girlfriend Michelle Williams who is the
mother of their 2-year-old daughter.  Reports are that he battled with
depression and insomnia.   It really makes you at least wonder how much
affect playing some of the dark roles he did, the gay cowboy in “Brokeback
Mountain,” a heroin addict in the movie, “Candy,” and his latest role as the
dark and macabre Joker in the newest “Batman” movie to be released this
summer, had on his real life.

Sadly, there is no hint of any faith in Ledger’s life.  He recently spoke of
death in an interview, dealing with the subject from the typical perspective
of someone who sees death as simply the end of life.  Like so many in the
entertainment field, their faith is in themselves and in this fleeting life
that ends sooner than anyone expects it to.  The cold hard reality of this
life is that it will end one day for each of us.  Usually before we are
ready for it to end.  At that moment, in that instant, we will immediately
be standing before God our Creator.  God is not going to be interested that
we were a successful Hollywood actor or whatever our profession may have
been.  The only thing God will be interested in is do we have a personal
relationship with Jesus by faith, nothing else.

Please take a moment today and pray for Heath Ledger’s family, friends, and
many fans.  I pray that his untimely death will be a reminder to all of how
brief this life really is.  I pray that those who mourn his loss will find
the comfort and strength of Christ and that they will turn their lives to
Him.  If you have not accepted Christ into your heart and life yet, the
Bible says that today is the day of salvation. I would invite you to go to

words, pray that prayer, and accept today God’s gift to you, the gift of His
son Jesus.

Knowing that there is the better percentage of two full generations living
today that don’t go to church, were not raised in a Christian home, and have
no spiritual foundation to their lives, I am motivated daily to bring these
people the Truth of God’s Word and the hope and love of Christ before they
fall into the hands of the many cults and false religions that exist today.
Let me help you understand something. When man sinned and his relationship
with God was broken, there became a void in man that only God can fill. Deep
down, sinful man knows something is missing in his life, something that the
things of this world can’t fill, and he begins a search to fill that void.

Everyone who lives has to deal with the trials, the pain, the challenges of
living in this sinful and fallen world. Those who have no spiritual
foundation to their life will spend their teen and young adult years trying
to fill that spiritual void with the things this world promotes such as
alcohol, drugs, relationships, sex, money, career, material possessions, and
all the other temporal things of this life. It is usually when a person hits
their 30s that they realize that the things this world offers simply do not
fill that void they have in their life. That is why during their 30s and 40s
so many people begin to explore the spiritual side of their life.

Those of us who know Jesus Christ as our Savior, who know the Truth of God’s
Word, have the ONLY answer these people are looking for. That void in their
life is there due to their broken relationship with God their Creator and
can only be filled by being reconnected to God their Creator thru faith in
His Son Jesus Christ. What upsets me more than anything else is to watch the
cults and false religions of the world boldly and aggressively market
themselves to the lost and hurting in this world as the answer they are
looking for. They don’t do this by creating their own subculture and hoping
people will come to them, they actively go out and pursue people, using the
resources of this world to reach them with their lies and false hope.

Let me be blunt. While we have become content with building beautiful
buildings with all the modern conveniences and technologies of the world for
our people to enjoy, while we have set up our own TV, radio, music, and
publishing empires to preach to ourselves, the cults of the world like the
Mormons, the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Kaballah, Scientology, Moon’s Unification
Church, the false religions of the world like Islam, Buddhism, B’hai, Hindu,
and the many New Age philosophies, are reaching out to the lost and hurting
in this world through secular TV, radio, music, advertising, and publishing
vehicles that reach the world’s masses each day.

We have forgotten that Jesus told us to, “Go out into the highways and
hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” (Luke
14:23 KJV) At some point it became too much work to go out and reach people
and much more financially profitable to simply preach to the choir. So we
abandoned the world, retreated to the subculture we created for ourselves to
enjoy, and in the process have left the souls of men to the scavengers of
satan who are having a field day leading the lost into eternal damnation,
while we sit in our $20 million buildings singing about going to Heaven.

SHAME ON US, AND GOD WILL JUDGE US!

One of the fastest growing cults today is Scientology. As I have shared with
you in the past, cults and false religions are nothing new to the time we
are living in. Man has been trying to find ways to fill that void created by
his broken relationship with God since the very beginning. You don’t go too
many chapters into the Book of Genesis until you come to the story of the
Tower of Babel. That story is literally about men who decided to create
their own religion. The cults and false religions of this world are all
traced back to the hearts and minds of men who lived in rebellion to God.

The Mormon cult came from the imagination of that pedophile murderer Joe
Smith, another pedophile murderer Mohamed dreamed up what we know of today
as Islam, Mary Baker Eddy created the Christian Science cult out of her
blackened heart, and Charles Taze Russell created the Jehovah’s Witness
cult. Every cult and false religion can be traced back to a man who lived
his life in rebellion to God and created the cult or false religion out of
his imagination. The Truth, the Christian faith actually started in the
Garden of Eden and comes directly from God Himself, the very God who created
the heavens and earth and made man in His own image.

I am always amused at people who reject the story of Christ and God’s simple
plan to redeem fallen man, yet buy into the wild theology of cults like
Mormonism and Scientology. Christianity requires that you use your God-given
intelligence to make the choice to accept Christ as your Savior based on
reality. Cults like Mormonism and Scientology require that you abandoned all
intelligence and blindly believe wild stories based on no facts. I have to
be honest with you, I will never have enough faith to believe the fantasies
of Mormonism or Scientology, but many who are hurting and lost and looking
to fill that spiritual void in their life, will.

I love you and care about you so much. I pray that you will not neglect the
commandment we have from our Lord to share the hope and love of Christ and
the Truth of His Word with those you meet along your journey. The Lord
didn’t sit in a church and wait for people to come to Him, HE WENT TO THEM!
Christ is our example and we need to not only follow His example but His
words to, “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in,
that my house may be filled.” (Luke 14:23 KJV)

This is not complicated. We have the better percentage of two full
generations of people out there who have never been to church. They are
living their lives void of Christ and His Truth. We know they have a
spiritual void that at some point they will try to fill. That is why now
more than ever we need to be bold and aggressive in letting people know that
there is only ONE TRUTH in this world, there is only ONE ANSWER for their
problems, and there is only ONE WAY to fill that void in their life…FAITH
IN JESUS CHRIST!

God’s desire is that none be lost, that all come to repentance. May that
become our desire as well. Those who follow cults like Mormonism and
Scientology are on a conveyor belt to hell. Let us bring them the Truth of
God’s Word and the hope and love of Christ, so that they can get off before
it is too late and get on the conveyor belt to HEAVEN!!!

Two CHILDREN who have run away from home to be together.  If you continue to
under estimate the influence TV and other forms of media have on our culture
and the lives of our children, note the chilling story out of Flint,
Michigan regarding the 15-year-old boy who ran away with his 13-year-old
“girlfriend” because their parents were trying to keep them apart.  Hannah
McConnell, 13, and her boyfriend, 15-year-old Gage Petherbridge, ran away
last weekend, authorities said, setting off for California in Petherbridge’s
family’s white minivan.  They packed an Xbox 360, a dog and $680 in cash.
Over the weekend, authorities were able to trace a cell phone call made by
the runaway children to Nevada, so let’s pray today that they will be
located and taken back to their parents soon.

This sad and chilling story serves as the backdrop today for a message every
child and young adult over 10 needs to hear.  A relationship between a man
and woman is NOT a game! It is a serious, life-changing business. Every day,
approximately 5,000 of the 40,000 prayer requests I receive at Liveprayer
are from young adults 18 and under, and the vast majority of them are
dealing with the issue of relationships. Let me say right up front, I
personally feel that a young man and woman should WAIT until after High
School to start dating.

Dating, having a relationship with someone of the opposite sex, should be
for the purpose of finding your partner for life. A 12, 13, even 16 or 17
year old, is RARELY equipped or ready to be thinking about marriage. So they
enter into a relationship solely based on feelings they don’t understand or
have under control yet, and for every reason BUT marriage. I realize that
MTV., Friends, Dawson’s Creek, and all of the garbage on TV. glorifies teen
relationships. EVER SEEN A GODLY TEEN RELATIONSHIP ON TV? As Christians, we
are to live UP to the standards of God, not DOWN to the standards of this
sinful world!

Here are the two problems. First, in EVERY relationship you have, you give a
piece of yourself away. By the time you finally get married, after say 3 to
10 relationships, that is how much LESS of you the one you are committing to
spend your life with will get. The second problem is that going in and out
of relationships means each new one becomes less special, breaking up
becomes easier each time you do it, and you develop a mindset that you
eventually take into marriage that makes it easy to get divorced when things
don’t go as you hoped. Marriage becomes little more than a legal date.

I get flooded with emails every time I mention about young adults waiting
until after high school to date. They pour in from young men and women, 13,
14, 15, 16 years old who tell me that I don’t know what I am talking about.
They are in “love.” Getting involved in a relationship unlocks our emotions.
It sets off things inside of us that have incredible power over us to the
extent we don’t act or think rationally. We become consumed. Mature,
experienced people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s often destroy their very
lives by letting these emotions rule them. What chance does an inexperienced
teen have? None! The results of these teen romances range from hurt
feelings, all the way to death, and everything in between.

I get emails daily from young adults who have diseases they will carry with
them the rest of their life, have had children that obviously dramatically
altered their life, as well as those who made the unfortunate choice to have
an abortion and are now dealing with the consequences of that choice. I get
emails daily from young men and women who have broken up and are
contemplating suicide, can’t eat or sleep, or simply have no desire to do
anything. The fact is, God gave you free will to make choices.

To choose to enter into a serious boyfriend/girlfriend relationship before
you are out of high school is a BAD CHOICE and can dramatically change your
life forever. By the way, there is nothing magical about being out of High
School. It is simply one major “life hurdle” out of the way that is part of
the foundation of your life. There is PLENTY of time after High School to
start dating.

Even though this is not even a debatable issue, because it is such a
problem, let me quickly address it. There is absolutely NO situation when
sex outside of marriage is acceptable to God. NONE. ZERO. There is a
Biblical word fornication. It literally means any sex outside of marriage.
Any boyfriend or girlfriend that is willing to have sex before marriage is
NOT the person God has chosen for your life. It is simply not acceptable.
Don’t play games in this area!

I get emails all the time asking how far can you go? Jesus said if you lust
in your heart you have already committed adultery. If you have to ask how
far you can go, you are already too far. Once you allow lust into your
heart, God says you have already sinned. Let that be your standard to judge
by since it is impossible to engage in ANY act that wasn’t already birthed
in your heart. The physical act is simply the manifestation of the sin
already committed in your heart.

Having said that, let me talk to you about the two most important elements
of a relationship should you be thinking of marriage. The first is God’s
warning found in 2 Corinthians 6:14 to NOT BE UNEQUALLY YOKED. I have done
entire Devotionals on this issue. It is a warning from God to protect you.
Choosing to ignore this warning is no different than deciding to run a stop
sign. You are asking for serious problems. I cannot even begin to tell you
how many emails I get from men and women daily who ignored this warning and
are now dealing with the consequences. Consequences, by the way, that have
literally changed their lives. The person you enter into a relationship MUST
also be a Christian and actually living their life for Christ.

The second is the foundation on which you build your relationship. If you do
not have a spiritual foundation to your relationship, how can you expect
your marriage to survive the storms that come in every relationship? It is
exactly like the story Jesus told at the end of Matthew Chapter 7. The
marriage built on a spiritual foundation is like the house built on a rock.
The marriage built on any other foundation is like the house built on the
sand. My friend, again, let me reiterate. God gave everyone free will to
make choices. You can do what you want with your life. My only purpose today
is to help you make wise, informed choices about things that will affect the
outcome of your life.

I love you and care about you so much. I can’t even begin to tell you how my
heart is broken today, reading email after email of how people’s lives have
been decimated by broken marriages. The fact is, so much of the heartache,
pain, and tragedy many have lived through could have been avoided if they
had simply listened to God. When you are having relationships without even
understanding what is going on in the world, when you are engaging in sex
outside of marriage, when you get married to someone who is not even a
believer, when the foundation of your marriage is built on looks, sex,
money, or anything other than the Lord-you are simply NEVER going to know
the peace, joy, and abundance that this life can offer when you do it God’s
way!

The other problem is, so many of God’s children end up battling with the
domestic issues. They are of little service to the Lord. Never forget, that
is our purpose in this life, to serve and glorify Him with our lives. The
enemy gets us so distracted handling the consequences of our rebellion, that
we have little time or energy left to serve Him. Please read, and reread
these words today. Commit them to your heart. I realize how strong emotions
can be, and how they can cloud your judgment. That is why the more focused
you are on what God’s plan is, the less chance you will have of compromising
and getting into trouble.

A NOTE TO MOMS AND DADS! You are NOT responsible for the choices your
children make. Please, hear me clearly. You are NOT responsible for the
choices your child makes. You are responsible to raise them in the
admonition of the Lord, to shape their lives according to God’s Word. You
are responsible for their protection and care while they live with you. But
please understand, just like God gave you the free will to make your own
choices, God has given your child that same free will. Pray for them, love
them, help them as you are able, and stand on God’s promise in Proverbs
22:6, “train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not
turn from it.”

The bottom line to these words today is this. Do it your way, and it will
never work out as God intended. Do it God’s way and it works. Life is NOT
something to dread, but something to embrace and enjoy. The choice is yours.
I will be praying as you make the choice God is asking you to make. Is it a
guarantee that if you wait until after high school to start dating, find a
spouse who is saved and living for the Lord, build a spiritual foundation
together, that your marriage will not end in divorce? No! Sin can creep into
people’s lives and satan loves nothing more than to destroy a marriage. But
I can promise you that the odds of you making it are 1,000 times better.

A relationship between a man and woman is NOT a game! It is a serious,
life-changing business. A relationship God’s way can be the most beautiful
and rewarding experience you can ever imagine!

The danger of those who call themselves followers of Christ, but live in
rebellion to Him!  Is our allegiance to Christ or this temporal world?
Well, another high profile person who has used her Christianity to sell lots
of books has decided to publicly endorse the member of a satanic cult for
President.  The loud, out-spoken, and over-the-top Ann Coulter has
officially endorsed Mormon cult member Mitt Romney for President.  I can’t
judge her heart regarding her salvation, only God can do that.  But given
the fact she has publicly declared that she is a born-again follower of
Christ, especially due to the fact she chose to use her Christianity to
promote herself and her books to the Christian populace, Ann is clearly a
spiritual baby in need of sitting under solid Biblical teaching to grow in
her faith.

Coulter represents this growing number of people who I call “Cultural
Christians.”  They may have accepted Christ as their Savior and are saved,
but have grown very little from that point on.  While being followers of
Christ, they are also very attached to this temporal world that we live in.
Sadly, the world affects their thoughts and actions more than the Word of
God does.  They love the benefits of being a Christian, but have never grown
enough in their faith to understand the sacrifice that is required of a
follower of Christ.  They like being a Christian, but they also like being
in this world.  These cultural Christians are the very people Jesus spoke of
when he stated in Matthew 6:24, “”No one can serve two masters. Either he
will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and
despise the other.”

Listen, I know Ann Coulter is a political commentator and pundit who is best
known for her shtick of over the top rhetoric that sets her writings apart
from most others in the conservative movement.  If Ann Coulter as a
political pundit wants to endorse Mitt Romney or anyone else, that is up to
her.  Here is the problem.  Because of the large number of Christians who
are active in politics and sympathetic to the conservative movement, years
ago Coulter found a rich vein of consumers for her books when she stated she
was a Christian and began to get opportunities to speak at high profile
Christian ministries like Coral Ridge, founded by the late D. James Kennedy,
Liberty University, founded by the late Dr. Jerry Falwell, and other highly
visible forums that reach out to Christians.  In identifying herself as a
Believer and cashing in on her Christianity, comes a responsibility to take
a stand for the faith.

My friend, endorsing a man for President who lives and believes the
heretical and blasphemous teachings of Joey Smith and has become the
international poster boy for this nearly 200 year old satanic cult leading
the souls of millions of people to hell for all eternity is not taking a
stand for the faith but selling out the faith!!!

In her release announcing her endorsement of Romney for President, Coulter
naively states, “So having a candidate with a wacky religion isn’t all bad.”
I will give her the benefit of the doubt that she is simply a baby Christian
who has never grow much past her salvation experience, since Mormonism is
far more hideous than a “wacky religion.”  It is a lie that is literally
leading the souls of men to hell.  Coulter doesn’t understand that a vote
for Romney is tantamount to a vote for satan himself since a Romney
Presidency will influence millions worldwide to seek out the Mormon cult,
buy into their deception since they never tell people what they really
believe until long after they are hooked, and ultimately those souls will
die and end up burning in hell for all eternity since the only way to be
saved is by faith in Jesus Christ.  Not the faux jesus of Joey Smith, but
the real Jesus of the Bible!

Sadly, Coulter is just the latest in a growing list of high profile
Christian leaders and politicos who identify themselves as Christians, to
sell out the faith for whatever short-term political access they may
receive.  People like Jay Sekulow, Ralph Reed, Mark DeMoss, Paul Weyrich,
Bob Jones III, are just a few who have literally become Judases for selling
out Christ to back this satanic cult member.  These people have literally
become tools of satan since they use their influence over millions to help
other Christians justify supporting a cult member for President.  Like
Coulter, they have become the defenders of Romney to help people justify why
it is OK to ignore the spiritual implications of electing the member of a
satanic cult to the most powerful office in the world.  I assure you, God
WILL hold them accountable for their actions one day.

Let me just say that I have heard every tortured argument there is to
justify backing Romney for President.  My friend, the ends never justify the
means.  Even if you believe this is the only man on the planet who can lead
this nation and that during his time in office he will do many great and
wonderful things, it still doesn’t negate the potential millions of souls
who will end up in hell because of the influence he will carry in that
position.  Those who defend Romney or who simply haven’t got a clue about
spiritual things like Bill O’Reilly, think it is paranoia to extrapolate a
Romney Presidency into people joining the Mormon cult.  Due to the fact we
have the largest percentage of two full generations who have never been to
church, coupled with the aggressive evangelistic efforts of the Mormon cult,
throwing in the influence the office of President carries worldwide, I can
guarantee you that this cult will grow like a wildfire worldwide, leading
the souls fo these new converts to hell.

The message to you in all of this is that you need to choose who your master
is.  Is your master Jesus or this world?  You can’t have two masters.  The
reason there is such a thing as the “Christian left,” churches who accept
and condone sins like abortion and homosexuality, pastors who never give an
altar call, Christian leaders supporting a satanic cult member’s bid for the
Presidency, is because too many Christians never understood that when they
gave their life to Christ, it was no longer their life.  It belongs to Him.
We are no longer of this world.  We live in this world, but are just passing
through.  Our thoughts and desires, goals and passions are no longer tied to
this temporal existence, but to our eternal life with Christ.  As a
Christian, you are His follower, His ambassador.  Your life is to serve Him.
You can’t serve Christ when you are serving satan!!!

I love you and care about you so much.  Pray for Ann.  I have no idea where
or if she goes to church, how she is fed spiritually if at all, whose if any
teaching she is under.  She owes the Christian community a huge apology.
She decided to cash in on her Christianity which is fine.  However, in so
doing she took on the responsibility to honor Christ with her life.  It is
inconsistent for a follower of Christ to endorse or support in any way
someone who is part of a cult that operates in rebellion to God and His
Truth and is leading the souls of men to hell.  It is pretty simple, do you
serve Jesus or this world?

I will be praying for you as well.  It is so easy for Believers who live in
this world to fall in love with this world.  It doesn’t mean you aren’t
saved or don’t love Jesus, but you end up compromising your faith.  You
become a cultural Christian, someone who lets the culture dictate your
thoughts and actions as opposed to being guided by the Word of God.  It
doesn’t mean you are drowning in alcohol, drugs, porn, illicit sex, or
things like that.  It does mean that you have allowed the world to influence
you more than the Truth of God’s Word.  That is why I implore you often to
read the Bible daily, pray daily, be in a good church, fellowship with other
Believers, find ways to serve.  That way you never let the world you live in
take over you life.

Please keep your eyes and ears open.  One of the lessons I have tried to
drive home over these 8+ years of Liveprayer is that you have to stay
focused on THE man and never a man (or woman).  Men and women are frail
flesh and blood, prone to sin like anyone.  While we expect those in
leadership, those high profile Believers we see in the media to live their
lives above reproach and honoring Christ, the reality is that doesn’t happen
often.  Sift everything through the filter of God’s Word.  Don’t blindly
follow anyone.  Check with the Holy Spirit if those God has placed in your
life are leading you to righteousness or away from it.   Jesus related
people to being like sheep.  Sadly, there are far too few good shepherds in
the world today.  Too many sheep are being fleeced and led to the slaughter.
May you keep your eyes focused on Jesus, THE Shepherd!

Serving Christ in China is Costly… Monday, Jan 21 2008

CHINA –   Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in China is costly. On December 20, 2007, prominent leaders of the Fangcheng house church, Tian Ming-ge and Su Dean were detained by local police in Jiuquan city, Gansu province. According to China Aid Association (CAA), “Su and Tin Jin were conducting a church service with fellow co-worker, Wang Hongliang, when local authorities disrupted the gathering and detained the pastors. The three church leaders were arraigned under the charges of “gathering in an illegal assembly under the guise of religion.” Mr. Wang was released after serving 15 days detention, while Tian and Su’s penalties have been elevated to criminal detention.

Tian Jin, also known as “Uncle Jin”, has been actively involved in the Chinese house church since becoming a Christian in 1977. CAA added, “ Retired and unmarried, Tian had devoted the past 20 years of his life to full-time missionary work in China together with Zhang Rongliang and leaders from several different denominations. He worked with the counsel to educate and unite the different denominations on orthodox Christian doctrine. Zhang Rongliang is currently in prison serving a 7 ½ year sentence for his work with the house churches.”

These latest arrests are an example of the stringent conditions Christians live under in China. The persecution of believers is expected to intensify ahead of the Olympics later this summer. The Voice of the Martyrs is actively supporting persecuted believers and their families. VOM demonstrates Christ’s love by distributing Bibles and He Lived Among Us storybooks.

Pray for believers in China who have been imprisoned for their faith. Ask God to give them boldness and for their courageous testimonies to draw nonbelievers into fellowship with Christ.

One of the difficult things I deal with each day here at Liveprayer, are
parents who have suffered the loss of their baby due to a miscarriage.
Sadly, 15-20% of known pregnancies end in a miscarriage, so this is an issue
that touches most families and something many who are reading this today
have experienced. Of course the question each one who has lost a baby like
this asks is why? There are simply some things in this life we will never
know the answer to. Why God chooses to allow a baby to live only a few short
weeks or someone to live to 90, is something only He knows. This is another
classic example of the fact tomorrow is promised to none of us, regardless
how old you are, and each day is a gift from God. The one thing we do know
is that a baby who is lost while in its mother’s womb is forever with Jesus!

The greatest joy for any parent is to know that their child will spend all
eternity with the Lord. A baby in the womb who has not had the opportunity
to mature to the point of understanding sin and making a choice of faith to
accept or reject Jesus is forever with the Lord due to His grace. As
devastating as losing a baby is, I pray today that the assurance your child
will be forever with the Lord comforts those moms and dads who have suffered
this great loss in their life. I also pray that the Lord will help you heal
and bless you with many more children in the future. He loves you!

While death is a sad part of this human experience we all have to deal with
throughout our journey and one day face ourselves, today I also want to deal
with the other end of that spectrum, when life begins. One of the great joys
I have each day is receiving emails from people excited that they are going
to have a child. It is one of those special moments in a person’s life that
crescendos less than a year later with the birth of that precious baby. It
has been an honor and privilege to pray for so many babies still in the womb
and in a few months receive a picture of one of those babies that is truly a
gift from God.

Having a child is one of the greatest responsibilities a person has during
this lifetime. Raising that child is without a doubt the most important
ministry a parent will ever have. The Bible claims in 1 Timothy 5:8 that if
you don’t take care of your relatives, especially those in your family you
have denied the faith and are worse than an infidel or unbeliever. There are
no exceptions to this verse. It doesn’t say, unless you are a pastor. It
doesn’t say, unless you are the head of a major company. It doesn’t say,
unless you are too busy helping other people. The Word of God is clear that
the number one responsibility of a parent is to your family and EVERYTHING
else in your life is secondary.

*I want every parent to take a moment right now, pray, and ask God if your
spouse and children are truly the number one priority in your life after
your relationship with Christ. If not, NOW is the time to make whatever
changes that need to be made to insure they are!

For every man and woman who is reading this today that is expecting a child,
I want to encourage you to start praying over your child even now while that
baby is still in the womb. Pray health over your baby. Pray protection over
your baby. Pray God’s blessings over your baby. Pray that your baby will
have a heart that yearns for Jesus. Even after that baby is born, you need
to be praying over your baby everyday. God has entrusted this life into your
care. Prayer demonstrates our dependence upon God. Never in your life will
you be more tested and more dependent upon the Lord than in raising your
child.

As your child begins to get older, teaching that child how to pray, reading
the Word of God to your child, making sure your child is in church every
week, are all ways to follow God’s Word and raise that child in the
admonition of the Lord. GOD HAS GIVEN YOU THE RESPONSIBILITY OF RAISING YOUR
CHILD IN THE FAITH AND WILL HOLD YOU ACCOUNTABLE. The Bible tells us in
Proverbs 22:6, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he
will not turn from it.” *The greatest thing you will ever do for your child
is to lay a foundation of faith in Christ and God’s Word in their life!

Listen moms and dads. As your child gets older they will begin to make their
own decisions. At some point, you won’t be able to make their choices for
them. That is why laying that foundation of faith is so critical. Let me
make sure you understand something. You are NOT responsible for the
decisions they make. Just like your mother and father were not responsible
for the decisions you made, you are not responsible for the decisions your
children will make.

That is why those early years are so critical, since what they learn in
those early years will help to shape the choices they make as they get
older. Know that even if they turn from the Lord at some point, when times
get difficult it is that spiritual foundation you helped lay in their life
that will sustain them. Just like the prodigal son made some horrible
decisions, when he hit rock bottom he knew to “go home” to his father.

I know that many of you are in tears today because you so desperately want a
child and for reasons only God knows, you have not been able to conceive.
Why your prayers have not been answered is something only God knows for
certain, but let me encourage you to continue to pray for a child, knowing
that with God ALL things are possible. We have too many testimonies both
from God’s Word and from so many people of how God allowed them to conceive
later in life after many years of not having any children. Never forget that
God may have a special calling on your life to be a mom or dad to a child by
adoption. There are so many children who have been given up for adoption who
need Godly parents, and God may be calling you to have a child by adoption.

I love you and care about you so much. For those who have suffered the pain
of a miscarriage, I pray today that the Lord will be with you in a special
way and that He will soon bless you with a child. There is nothing more
exciting in life than finding out that you are going to have a child, going
through those months of preparing for the birth of your child, and then that
incredible day you will never forget as long as you live when your baby is
born. Of course, that is also the start of the most important job you will
ever have in this life, raising your child. Let me close today with a
special prayer of blessing for your baby, whether this baby is still in the
womb or recently born, and for you to be the Godly parents God has called
you to be.

“Father, I pray today for those who have suffered the pain of having a
miscarriage. Dear Lord, help them to heal and give them peace in knowing
their baby is in Heaven, forever with you! Today, I pray for those precious
babies who are still in the womb. I pray oh Lord that you will touch these
precious lives and make their bodies healthy, their minds sharp, and their
hearts tender towards the Lord. I pray oh Lord that you will bring forth
these precious babies from the womb in your perfect timing and that these
babies will grow and mature into mighty men and women of God should Jesus
tarry in His return. For those babies and children, I pray oh Lord that you
will protect them from the evils of this dark world. I pray oh Lord that
they will be raised in the admonition of the Lord, in the strength of your
Word, and become great men and women of God to lead your people in these
last days. Father, I lift up the moms and dads of these children. Give them
your strength, your wisdom, your discernment as they raise their children in
the ways of the Lord. I pray oh Lord that you will guide them and help them
to be the Godly moms and dads to their children you have called them to be.
Bless their homes oh Lord, let the Sprit of the living God be present and
make their homes and lives great beacons of light in this lost and dying
world. I pray blessings on these babies and children, blessings on these
moms and dads in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, AMEN”

Perhaps there is no subject more personal, more emotional, and more
difficult to deal with than that of a spouse who cheats. First of all, there
is absolutely NO justification for cheating on your spouse. Point blank. It
is a sin in God’s eyes. Man has tried in his own feeble way to categorize
sin. Bad sins, and really bad sins. Sin is sin in the eyes of God, no matter
what it involves, since sin is an act of rebellion towards God.

There is no arguing however, because of the intimate and sensitive nature of
adultery, it is a highly visible sin because of the raw emotions involved.
Having laid that foundation, let me look for a minute at this topic from
both sides. That of the person who has committed adultery, and that of the
spouse who has been cheated on.

First of all, for anyone who has committed adultery, you have to understand
some basic issues. First is that what you have done is a sin in God’s eyes,
no matter how you may try to justify or spin it. There is NO circumstance
that makes adultery acceptable. Second, anyone who has been involved in this
type of behavior knows deep down inside the incredible price you end up
paying, for what boils down to a few moments of pleasure. Like all sin, you
pay a very high price for what you end up receiving.

Having dealt with this issue in literally thousands of cases over the years,
I can assure you that there is NEVER a positive ending. These relationships,
due to the foundation on which they are built, never last long, and if they
do, are never filled with the joy and peace life has to offer. Remember, God
cannot and will not bless sin. So you go off into this new relationship on a
foundation of sin and deceit, without the blessings of God. How can you ever
expect it to work?!

So what is the answer? Simple. Repent, get right with God, and then begin
the long, long process of getting back into a correct relationship with your
spouse. This will take lots of time, lots of effort, and things will never
be 100% the way they were before. However, God can heal and help you and
your spouse find His peace and love again to live many happy years together.
It is not hopeless.

But you have to be willing to repent, get right with God, and then take the
steps necessary to get right with your spouse. God is able to do all things,
and you will need His help and strength each step of the way, but He will
honor your commitment. Don’t give up, that is what the enemy wants you to
do.

For the spouse that has been cheated on, it becomes a time for you to find a
level of faith and trust in God you never experienced before. Because of the
deep hurt and wounds, God is your only source of strength during this time.
While the Bible in the New Testament does give a scriptural “out” in a
marriage when adultery is involved, the reading of the complete Word still
proclaims it is God’s plan for one man, one woman, one lifetime. That must
be your goal.

You will need to spend much time in prayer for your spouse. They need your
prayers to overcome the wrongs they have done. You will need to spend much
time in prayer with the Lord to keep in focus that you are loved. Many
spouses who have been cheated on feel that they are to blame. Listen. You
CANNOT control the actions of your spouse. You CANNOT be responsible for
what they do. Quit blaming yourself for their actions! Know that in Christ
you are loved and worthy.

Lastly, you will need LOTS of prayer to have a forgiving heart. This, of
course, is the most difficult hurdle to overcome. It is not possible in our
strength. Only God can give you a forgiving heart to go on. Ultimately, the
key will be in your focus on the Lord. Your faith, your trust in the Lord
will be tested and stretched. It is in times like this when your faith
becomes very real.

There is absolutely no way in just a few paragraphs I can deal with an issue
like this that can fill a library full of books. I have tried to give you
the bottom line from both sides of this issue. It will all boil down to each
spouse’s commitment to the Lord to overcome this part of your life. The
cheating individual will need the Lord to overcome the sin committed and get
back into a right relationship with the spouse, and the spouse will need the
Lord to overcome the intense emotions and feelings to allow the spouse back
into a place of trust in the relationship.

There is no way things can ever be the same again; however, the Lord is
still in the healing business, and He can help work things out so there is
still a loving, fruitful relationship for many years to come. The key is
trusting God and not giving up.

I love you, and I care about you deeply. I realize from all of the emails we
get each day how prevalent this issue is. I will be praying for you today,
both those who have committed adultery and those spouses who have been
cheated on. I realize the heartache and pain you are going through. If I can
help in any way, don’t hesitate to email me; I will do my best. I cannot do
marriage counseling over email, but I can pray and give some basic
direction.

My main point today is that God is still on the throne, He is still in
control, and despite our rebellion…..He will have the final word. Jesus
said, “be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world.” That includes the
sins in this world like adultery.

title sponsors of the upcoming Florida State Fair that starts in just a few
weeks.  This is such an incredible door the Lord has opened for us to boldly
and visibly bring Christ to the 500,000+ folks who will be attending this
year’s Fair.   As you know, our budget for the Fair is $60,000.  We have
raised $30,000 of that so far and I am praying for 6 people who in the next
few weeks could help with a special one-time gift of $5,000 so we can cover
the remaining balance.  Thank you for your prayers as we continue to find
ways to take Christ to the masses in the marketplace each day.

Let me share some insights with you that I have found to be true in my life
and I am sure you have found in your own life. It is in our failures that we
learn life’s most important lessons and grow. Nobody wants to fail, but the
only person who has never failed is someone who has never tried. Failure is
part of life. It is something we all have to experience from time to time.
The key, however, is how do you respond when you fail? How do you respond
when life doesn’t go as you planned?

Winning, losing, succeeding, failing, these are all concepts that we begin
to learn as children. Playing games is something all children do, and
quickly we learn there are winners and losers. During our childhood we try
many things, music, sports, different hobbies. Again, we quickly learn the
joy of succeeding in the things we do and that empty feeling when we fail.
While it is important to keep winning and success in perspective and learn
how to do both with humility, it is even more important to learn how to
handle defeat and failure, as well as the lessons they can teach us.

The first lesson in losing, in failing, is to take personal responsibility
and not blame other people or anything else. Having spent 31 months of my
life in Federal Prison, having ministered these past 18 yrs to tens of
thousands of men and women who are incarcerated, I can tell you the biggest
problem I see with people in prison is the refusal to take personal
responsibility for the choices that put them in prison. Most people you talk
to who are in prison will tell you they are there because of what this
person or that person said or did. They are not willing to accept
responsibility that they are there because of the choices THEY MADE. A
person who is in prison will never be able to move forward and turn their
life around until they are ready to accept personal responsibility for THEIR
choices.

Whenever we lose or fail, it is always easy to sit back and make excuses.
Some of those excuses may even be valid. However, rather than investing the
time and energy into finding excuses why we lost or failed, it is far more
productive to look at the role WE played in our loss or failure. You learn
nothing by blaming someone else or making excuses. When you sit down and are
honest to look at yourself, at the choices you made that contributed to your
loss or failure, then you are able to learn from the mistakes you made and
hopefully not repeat them in the future. We can all learn much from our
losses and failures in life if we will simply be honest with ourselves and
take the time to analyze our thoughts and actions so we can identify what we
did wrong.

The second lesson in losing, in failing, is to not let our loss or failure
paralyze us from trying again. Some people become so devastated by losing,
by failing, that they simply refuse to try again. My friend, losing and
failing are part of life. As I said earlier, the only people I have met who
have never lost or failed are people who have never tried. You can’t be
afraid of losing or failure. Nobody likes to lose. Nobody likes to fail.
However, you will never win unless you also lose and you will never succeed
unless you also fail. Rather than being paralyzed by losing and failing, let
them motivate you. Learn from your losses and failures so that you don’t
repeat the mistakes and poor choices you made that led to them. Instead of
losing and failing making you weak, they can make you strong.

*LET ME SAY THAT ONE MORE TIME SINCE THIS IS A POWERFUL THOUGHT. INSTEAD OF
LOSING AND FAILING MAKING YOU WEAK, LOSING AND FAILING CAN MAKE YOU STRONG!

The third lesson in losing, in failing is this, THERE IS NO FAILURE WITH
GOD! In the process of serving the Lord, we will always have times and
experiences when we feel in our flesh that we have failed, that we have let
the Lord down. That is a lie from the pits of hell! THERE IS NO FAILURE WITH
GOD! You can’t fail when you are serving the Lord. The only way you can fail
is to NOT serve Him! God uses our obedience and faithfulness in ways we will
never see or understand until we get to Glory. The reality is, when we are
yielded to the Lord, God uses our lives to do incredible things that we
never even realize.

As a matter of fact, I submit that the greatest things you will ever do for
God you don’t even know you did them until you get to Heaven. Those are the
things you do each day simply by being obedient and faithful . God will give
us a little feedback along the way since He knows our flesh is weak and
needs encouragement. However, the vast majority of what God does in and
through our lives we will never fully comprehend in this life. Don’t forget,
our job isn’t to know everything that is going on, it is simply to be
obedient and faithful. God can use a willing and yielded vessel!

I love you and care about you so much. Losing and failing are simply part of
this life. Things often don’t go as we planned. THAT IS LIFE! How we respond
to losing, to failing, when things don’t go as we planned is the key. Never
forget, God is on the throne. He doesn’t take naps, or go to the bathroom,
or take a break to eat a sandwich. God is on His throne at all times and
nothing happens apart from God allowing it to happen. The vast majority of
the time we lose or fail is because of the choices we made. God gave us free
will, and God allows us to make the choices that lead to our losing or
failing. Again, the key is how do we respond when we lose or fail.

Your first response should be prayer. Pray for God to open your heart, give
you wisdom, and show you why you lost or failed. Than, you need to pray for
God to give you the strength to overcome your disappointment in losing or
failing, and help you to move forward. Lastly, you need to seek the Lord to
guide you so that you don’t make those same poor choices again. Listen to me
carefully. God doesn’t abandon you when you lose or fail. You are not alone.
He is there with you each moment, so reach out and allow HIM to comfort you
and give you His peace. God is with you in the good times and bad, through
victory and defeat, through success and failure.

I will be praying for you today. Praying that God will speak to your heart
today through these words. If you have suffered some defeats in your life
recently, if you have failed, know that I am here and praying for you.
Losing and failing are part of life. Don’t let your defeats or failures keep
you from moving forward. Life goes on. Sit down and learn from your losses,
learn from your failures, and work to insure you don’t make those mistakes
again. Let me share a secret with you today. As long as you know Jesus as
your Savior you can never lose or fail and if you don’t know Jesus as your
Savior, you can never win or succeed. One more time, say it out loud slowly,
“As long as I know Jesus as my Savior I can never lose or fail and if I
don’t know Jesus as my Savior, I can never win or succeed!”

My friend, as long as you know Jesus, no matter what may happen, no matter
what the setbacks in life you may experience along your journey, no matter
what your defeats or your failures may be, you will always win and be
successful! YOU ARE ALWAYS A WINNER AND A SUCCESS BECAUSE OF JESUS!!!
